Recently restored Heritage home with Edwardian design. 1 king bed, 2 queen beds . 2 full bathrooms. Office space with doors for privacy. 3 parking spaces in driveway. 20 minutes to Niagara Falls. Central to many attractions in the Niagara area. Close to the 406 highway. Close to shopping malls, and Welland International Flatwater Centre.
Built between 1911 and 1915 by Col. Raymond. This century home features 3 fireplaces. Gumwood featured in the office . Oakwood beams in the living room and dining room. 12 " Oak baseboards. Light oak flooring with mahogany inlay throughout the main floor and second floor. Imported Italian marble and German tile adorns the main hall entrance. French doors throughout. Built in oak bookcases. Leather tooled woodwork in dinnette. Servants call boxes. We have lived in Niagara for 11 years. We love the hiking and kayaking opportunities in this region. And we love to visit Niagara Falls often! A great balance of nature and tourism in this area.
Why they chose this property
We love the balance between nature and tourism. Only 20 minutes from Niagara Falls but a much quieter environment and still close to many amenities. And we fell in love with the house!
What makes this property unique
There are so many unique features! Embossed leather, hardwood floors laid in different designs with inlay, call buttons, antique door knobs, hand carved fireplaces, original tile in entrance and bathrooms, and beautiful woodwork throughout!
