What a beautiful property. It was quiet, peaceful, and simply wonderful. My wife and I stayed for a week and were able to fully relax and unwind. Would definitely recommend!!
In addition to being a large peaceful secluded lot this property is extremely well maintained. We've stayed here a few times over the years and the property continues to get better each time. We have been to many VRBOs and there is a clear difference between an owner that takes pride in the property vs one that just uses it for income. This owner clearly takes pride in the property.
A great country setting. Amazing clean place to stay. Very close for people that love hiking and nature.Todd and Becky were very responsive hosts and had everything needed and then some. Definitely would come back.
Every once in a while my family and I get to take a weekend away, whether a "work-cation" with me or a last minute true get-away-from-it-all couple of days. This particular weekend was the latter and very needed. A last minute weekend getaway in October in Ohio can be difficult on a budget. Hocking Hills was full and my wife found Wilberness. We booked and I can say, without a doubt, The Wilberness Log Cabin is a hidden gem. The cabin is obviously used often by the owners who take meticulous care of the structure and grounds. Check in is a breeze. The cabin itself is spotless and well apportioned with everything a family might need for a couple days. The owners allow full use of their stocked kitchen, they've got a fire pit ready to go, hot tub amazingly enjoyable, gas grill super clean and tanked up. The upstairs master and other multi-bed rooms are bigger than their pictures look, extremely spacious for the relatively small footprint of the cabin. I kept thinking how well thought out the layout of the cabin was. Nothing felt cramped or out of place, small or unnecessarily large. Our family of four, two adults and two teens, enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The Wilberness Cabin will always be on our list of properties to which we would visit again.
We had a great time. The peaceful, rural scenery is the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of city living. Nature was right there and it soothes the soul. I would love to return in the summer.
The cabin was a perfect place to simply be with friends surrounded by nature. The cabin was super clean and inviting. We made good use of the fire pit and especially appreciated the free fire wood. I highly recommend the cabin to anyone who wanted to relax and be in nature! The hosts were super easy to communicate with and the details were exactly as they said it would be.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is gorgeous and cozy. All the little details inside the cabin the way they decorated it great job, definitely an escape from the city life.
Our foursome has been coming to the Wilberness cabin for the past four years at springtime to hike the surrounding area which is lush with wild flowers. We love staying at Becky and Todd's cabin. They have made it a warm and welcoming place for us to getaway and relax. We look forward to spending our time here.
Wilberness is beautiful, clean, and the host is amazing. It exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back. They thought of every detail. You will not regret staying here!
I am blown away by all the 10 star reviews. I would rate this property average and do not recommend if you have allergies. I was worried about all the decor I saw in the pictures but the reviews made me OK with booking. So much dust everywhere up high; the window treatments need to be replaced or washed, they were dirty and covered in dust. This place is like staying at your grandpa's cabin. It's definitely functional and has most everything you will need; they have a stock of condiments and cooking stuff so you don't need to bring a lot of extras, if you're comfortable using other people's foods. Bathroom showerhead should be replaced with a handheld so you don't have to squat to rinse your hair. A bottle of dandruff shampoo and a cheap conditioner is there for you. Mismatched old towel, but there are beach towels for the old hot tub that you have to crawl into under the deck. Random stuff in the cabinet so you may get lucky if you need peroxide or something. No dishwasher so hand washing everything before and after use (the glass I pulled out of the cabinet was sticky so I washed anything I used beforehand.)The master bed is too firm. We slept so poorly that we decided to skip our second night's stay and head home early. Between the firm bed and the dust we were miserable the first morning when we woke up.And I would be careful with children on the back deck; the railing is not to code and any small child could fit through the rungs and fall to the ground below.
Very informative before we arrived. Property was very relaxing, organized, clean and beautiful both inside and outside. If I ever come back to the area I will consider staying at this piece of property. The owners take great pride in the property and their quests.
This was Everything, the advertisement said it would be!! We enjoyed Each, and Every moment!!
I could write about this cabin, for days!! "ABSOLUTELY AWESOME"
This is the third time we have stayed at the Wilberness Cabin. We love it. Todd and Becky are wonderful host and they provide delightful touches to make the stay very memorable. The cabin is situated on a quiet country road and with a front and back porch where you can sit and enjoy the birds and the woods. Very relaxing.
