A Room with a View

What a unique spot! We spent most of our time here sitting outside and admiring the view...even during a rainstorm. The main bed is comfortable and you get a great view from there as well. The tiny house has everything you need.

Great place and great host!

The view was spectacular. The tiny house is unique and tasteful. The Landscaping was great also. Bishop arts district has cool shops and had multiple live musicians up and down the street. Its a little world in it self.

About the host

Hosted by Linda

Host profile image
As a native Texan with a heart for people and a passport that’s always ready, I approach hosting the same way I approach travel: with intention, curiosity, and a love for beautiful experiences. I’m deeply rooted in my work and my community, and creating welcoming spaces for guests feels like an extension of the life I adore. I treasure my friends, my work, great conversations with new and interesting people, and—above all—TRAVELING. Those adventures have taught me exactly what travelers crave: thoughtful comfort, effortless ease, and a touch of boutique‑hotel magic.

The six things I could never live without? Friends who make life richer, knowledge that keeps me inspired, the internet that keeps me connected, sunrise that reminds me to slow down, art that keeps my world vibrant, and travel that keeps my soul wide open. Hosting allows me to share that spirit with guests from around the world, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to Dallas. Whether you’re here to explore, unwind, or discover something unexpected, I hope my home becomes one of those places you remember long after your suitcase is unpacked.

Why they chose this property

Nestled in the heart of one of Dallas’ most charming areas, this home sits within the peaceful beauty of East Kessler Park and between the lively, walkable Bishop Arts District and Trinity Groves. Guests love starting their mornings in East Kessler Park, where rolling hills, mature trees, and historic homes create a quiet, scenic backdrop perfect for coffee on the deck or a leisurely stroll. Just minutes away, Bishop Arts District offers a completely different energy with its colorful murals, independent boutiques, chef‑driven restaurants, cozy cafés, and vibrant nightlife. It’s one of the most beloved walkable districts in the city, making it easy to explore local shops, enjoy brunch, or discover new favorites without ever needing to drive. The blend of calm residential charm and lively urban culture is what makes this neighborhood so special. Whether you’re here for a relaxing retreat, a foodie adventure, or a weekend of exploring Dallas’ most unique spots, this location gives you the best of both worlds—quiet evenings under the trees and exciting days just around the corner.

You’ll also be perfectly positioned to explore the rest of Dallas with ease. The home is just 1 mile from Downtown Dallas, Trinity Groves, and Victory Park, giving you quick access to museums, waterfront dining, concerts, and major attractions. Fair Park is only 4 miles away, making it simple to enjoy festivals, sporting events, and the iconic State Fair of Texas. Sports fans love the convenience of being just 15 miles from the Cowboys’ stadium in Arlington, and for those wanting to explore even more of North Texas, Fort Worth is an easy 30‑mile drive. It’s a central, connected location that makes every outing effortless.

What makes this property unique

Tucked into the winding, tree‑lined streets of East Kessler Park, the Tiny House at The Hidden Cliff offers one of the most distinctive and charming stays in Dallas—a thoughtfully designed retreat nestled on nearly half an acre of lush, private grounds. Though compact in footprint, the home lives large through intentional design, clever use of space, and a boutique‑hotel aesthetic that makes it feel both elevated and inviting. Every corner is curated for comfort, efficiency, and style, creating a serene escape for solo travelers, couples, creatives, and anyone seeking a peaceful hideaway close to the city’s most vibrant districts.

What truly sets this tiny home apart is the rare combination of privacy and setting. In a neighborhood known for architectural character but not expansive lots, the surrounding grounds create a sense of calm and seclusion that’s almost impossible to find this close to Bishop Arts, Trinity Groves, and Downtown. Guests can sip morning coffee on the expansive deck with a view of Downtown Dallas, unwind after exploring the city, or simply enjoy the quiet—an experience that feels worlds away from typical urban stays.

This tiny home has also earned recognition beyond 5-star guest reviews. It has been featured in multiple travel and lifestyle articles highlighting it as one of the most unique places to stay in Dallas. In 2024, it was showcased on TV host Chris Grundy’s show House of What?!?, where its clever layout, design personality, and undeniable “wow factor” were spotlighted for a national audience. That media visibility reinforces what guests feel the moment they arrive: this isn’t just a tiny house—it’s a destination.

With its blend of charm, design, privacy, and cultural visibility, the Tiny House at The Hidden Cliff offers an experience that’s intimate, memorable, and unmistakably Dallas.
