EcoShed - Private Riverfront Getaway. Eco-friendly, pet friendly, close to town

Overlooking the beautiful Bellinger river it is the perfect place to chill and enjoy comfort in the middle of nature. Located on 23 acres just 5 minutes from town, with outdoor terrace, BBQ and fire pit. Private nature trails, and waterways with platypus and kookaburras on your doorstep. Swimming spots, beaches, waterfalls and national parks within a short distance.

Why EcoShed? (Bore and tank) water, (solar) power and septic (system) are all sourced on the farm and the EcoShed itself has been constructed to be energy efficient to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.

The shed has a modern country feel. A spacious living/dining area joins onto a fully equipped kitchen. stunning views of the river. The shed has AC throughout.

The bedroom had a king size bed. The living room has a luxury modular queen-size sofa bed, which can be set up in less than a minute,.

All amenities such as towels, soaps and shampoos are provided, alongside a complimentary gift basket, coffee, tea,

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very comfortable and the location was amazing — it had everything we needed to have a calm and relaxing time. We would definitely stay here again.

Good spot on the river and lovely to sit by the fire. Not within walking distance of town. We would stay again if we came with the dog. Super clean, cosy and comfortable. Some basics left for breakfast for which we were grateful. The only downfall was the poor communication and then having to deal with stayz phone line but I understand life happens too.

Oliver was a wonderful host - fresh home-baked bread, butter and milk and a basket of goodies left for us, as well as a welcome sign! My 10 year old immediately felt welcome and excited to be there! The river view from the bedroom was magic in the morning. Bathroom was clean with a lovely shower.We came and went as we pleased and felt very safe. Lots of modern gadgets in the kitchen and a big TV. We enjoyed a few games of Snakes and Ladders before bed. Oliver offered plenty of local knowledge. Next time I’d like to go platypus sightseeing, was disappointed we didn’t have time this trip! Thanks for the hospitality!
