Good location, quiet community setting. Located down near the ferry terminal. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels. Alice's House is very comfortable and well presented.

Property was clean and well maintained. Location is great, close to shops, restaurants and public transport. Parking is available but not guaranteed - free street parking is the most likely option for guests but spaces are limited. Washing machine included but no clothes drier, so a trip to the local laundromat is necessary for anyone wanting to dry their washed clothes. Overall, a nice place to stay, would happily stay there again.

The property is in a great location. Some items such as crockery and cutlery and pillows need an upgrade. I was disappointed that the toilet opens into the kitchen.

Good location for what we required close to ferry if wanting to go into the city. Was about a 15 min walk to the main street of Balmain for restaurant. Room was very clean and tidy. Alice the host made sure everything was ok right up until we were at the property.

The combined toilet and shower room opens directly into the kitchen food preparation area which is a major OHS issue.Under the Australian NCC this layout is strictly illegal Without an airlock/hallway or double doors.separator. Because the lack of ventilation in a very small enclosed space and the toilet facing the kitchen it poses a health risk due to trapped moisture airborne bacteria and rapid mould growth ( which was on the ceiling in the shower ) A person has to get undressed in the Kitchen as there is no room in the bathroom We also found mould growth on the air conditioner fans.I have fully documented the Setup with photographs .I was very disappointed in this property as I feel it does not meet Stayz standards
