Awesome honeymoon

Cozy home that was very comfortable. Loved the feel and appearance. Made a very nice honeymoon for my wife and I. Being able to cook for my wife and cuddle on the couch with a good movie was perfect. Not far from town where we were able to take in the sights and enjoy long walks.

Fun cabin

Our family had fun time. Close to town, cakes and quiet. Great deck, pool table and lots is space. Definitely not easy to access the cabin with more than 20 steep stairs, but once in the cabin it was really wondering!

Comfortable home away from home

We Travel to California to visit family and Friends .We knew it was going to be hot We decided to stay in the mountain areas. This was a cool getaway from all of her friends and family down the hill. It was warm, comfortable and welcoming. Had everything that we could need , Including plenty of fun and relaxation. We definitely hope to return to this place in the future. need

Living area nice..lower bedroom nice. Stairs a problem. Carpet needs cleaning badly and upper level bed not stable. Loved the weather wish we had alittle better Knowledge of the things that were not up to par for us… Sorry

There is a small loveseat and a wooden chair in the corner. It was pretty uncomfortable to try and sit in the living room area and watch tv. Everything else was great. The king bed was very comfortable. The upstairs loft was a lot of fun. The parking was easy. I loved drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning.

Sweet little cabin in the woods!

The owners thought of everything here. It’s perfect for a small family of 4 with kids/teens. The game room has a pool table, arcade game and 2 comfortable full size beds as well as it’s own half bathroom. Perfect for entertaining my 13 yo son and a friend! They were up there the entire time when we were home. The main bedroom downstairs has a comfortable King bed and plenty of linens as well as a TV. It’s small but so well decorated and with the higher ceiling on the main level, maybe 10-11 feet, it felt very comfortable for us. The deck is large and backs to nothing but trees. Very quiet and peaceful. There are some stairs down to get to the front door but nothing unmanageable. We will stay again!

The house needs a ceiling fan in the living area in the summer. The temps were quite high in July and a ceiling fan would have been nice. No dishwasher, but that was okay, but the icemaker in the freezer wasn't hooked up. The area around the house could be cleaned up a bit, and the deck has spider webs everywhere. Just taking a hose to them would be sufficient. We had everything we needed though, and the kitchen was amply supplied. The beds were comfortable and nice. The upstairs bathroom could use some towel racks/hooks. Overall, we were pleased and would return for another visit.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not for anyone handicapped, wobbly steps to the cabin, steps have incomplete railings. AC was not on, no instructions how to turn it on. No ac for living room. Their site says “panoramic view” if you like pine tree trunks.There is a 7 page contract to sign. Good news, it’s a quiet place with good tv so you can stay inside, the outside hasn’t been cleaned in a long time.

The cabin is charming. But our overall experience was not what we expected. 1. We arrived to the rental at 4:05 (check-in is at 4), but we had to call and wait 40 miutes, outside to get the code to enter the property. 2. When we entered, we realized the kitchen trash was full, for us to take out. 3. There was no propane for the grill, when we called for support, we were told, they had no one to deliver the propane, and we were asked to go buy it ourselves. 4. The deck was nothing like the pictures. Everything was super dusty, you can tell the desk has not been clean in weeks/months. Very disappointing. Second, therfor us to take outthe kitcThird

DISASTER!

ON THE 3RD DAY OF OUR 5 DAY VACATION, THERE WAS A SCHEDULED, 12-HOUR POWER OUTAGE THAT WE HAD NOT BEEN TOLD OF. HAD WE KNOWN THIS, WE WOULD HAVE CANCELLED OUR STAY. OUR FIRST KNOWLEDGE OF THE OUTAGE OCCURRED AT 6AM ON THE 3RD DAY, WHEN THE COFFEE POT QUIT PERKING AND THE LIGHTS WENT OUT, AS WELL AS THE A/C. WE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON! MY 100-YEAR OLD FATHER WAS WITH US, WHICH, AFTER 12 HOURS OF NO A/C, WAS UNBEARABLE. WE WERE TOLD BY A NEIGHBOR THAT POWER WAS TO RETURN AT 6PM, SO WE EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO COOK DINNER. IT ENDED UP NOT BEING RESTORED UNTIL 9:30PM, HOURS AFTER DARKNESS, AND NO FLASHLIGHT COULD BE FOUND IN THE HOUSE. MY FATHER WAS CONFUSED AND UPSET, TO SAY THE LEAST, AS WERE WE. WE COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING OR EVEN MOVE ABOUT THE HOUSE IN TOTAL DARKNESS! WE HAD BEEN COMMUNICATING WITH SPIRIT VACATION HOMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY BUT WERE TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR US. NEIGHBORS WERE USING GENERATORS, BUT OUR RENTAL DIDN'T HAVE ONE. SPIRIT DID NOTHING AT ALL FOR US!! WE LEFT THE FOLLOWING MORNING IN DISGUST AND HAVE ASKED FOR A FULL REFUND FOR OUR 4 DAYS THERE, BUT HAVE HEARD NOTHING AT ALL!
