We just wanted to share with you a little about our propery.
Since purchasing Lemontree Cottage in August 2022, we’ve been on a journey to enhance both its sustainability and guest experience. While much of this work happens behind the scenes, we know many of our guests value eco-friendly choices, so we’re excited to share the steps we’ve taken so far.
Our Sustainability Upgrades
We've made several improvements to reduce our environmental footprint, including:
✅ Energy Efficiency: A 5-star LG refrigerator, a 4.5-star Miele washing machine, and a 9-star Miele heat pump dryer.
✅ Solar Power: A 4kW solar system with fully recyclable panels.
✅ Water Conservation: High-efficiency toilets and Hansgrohe/Faucet Strommen showerheads.
✅ Smart Technology: A Rainbird irrigation system linked to local rain gauges for water-efficient lawn care.
✅ Sustainable Landscaping: All garden maintenance is done with electric equipment, including a Husqvarna robot mower and Stihl battery trimmer.
✅ Eco-Friendly Lighting & Appliances: We’ve replaced incandescent bulbs with high-efficiency LED lighting and upgraded to an induction cooktop with a new rangehood to improve thermal efficiency.
