The space
Nestled in the heart of Bellerive, Lemontree Cottage is more than just a place to stay—it’s an eco-conscious escape designed for relaxation, comfort, and sustainability. Just 100m from the dog-friendly beach, our charming retreat is perfect for travelers who love nature, quality, and thoughtful design.

We’ve carefully upgraded the cottage with sustainability in mind, featuring a 4kW solar system, energy-efficient appliances, and water-saving fixtures. From the Miele washer and dryer to the induction cooktop and coffee machine, every detail is chosen to reduce our footprint without compromising on luxury. Even the gardens are maintained with electric equipment, ensuring a greener stay.

For remote workers, our home office setup makes it easy to balance work and leisure. And for those bringing four-legged friends, you’ll find a welcoming, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to explore.

It was a great stay, very clean and well maintained. Shopping , restaurants very close by. Amazing Beach just next door and and feels like private beach . Kitchen,bathroom fully equipped which is very handy.

Comfortable unit which is in close proximity to a beautiful beach. We arrived on an early evening flight and it was so lovely to have some staples like focaccia bread, milk, wine provided. There was a well stocked pantry for cooking and a good selection of tea and coffee pods. Easy to use induction cooktop.Dog bowls and dog toys etc were also provided. A dog towel would also be handy but I am being picky because everything else was covered.Bed was comfortable. Located upstairs while bathroom is downstairs. Sound of the ocean audible from bedroom which was lovely.Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Beach is about 100metres from the unit.

We just wanted to share with you a little about our propery.

Since purchasing Lemontree Cottage in August 2022, we’ve been on a journey to enhance both its sustainability and guest experience. While much of this work happens behind the scenes, we know many of our guests value eco-friendly choices, so we’re excited to share the steps we’ve taken so far.

Our Sustainability Upgrades

We've made several improvements to reduce our environmental footprint, including:
✅ Energy Efficiency: A 5-star LG refrigerator, a 4.5-star Miele washing machine, and a 9-star Miele heat pump dryer.
✅ Solar Power: A 4kW solar system with fully recyclable panels.
✅ Water Conservation: High-efficiency toilets and Hansgrohe/Faucet Strommen showerheads.
✅ Smart Technology: A Rainbird irrigation system linked to local rain gauges for water-efficient lawn care.
✅ Sustainable Landscaping: All garden maintenance is done with electric equipment, including a Husqvarna robot mower and Stihl battery trimmer.
✅ Eco-Friendly Lighting & Appliances: We’ve replaced incandescent bulbs with high-efficiency LED lighting and upgraded to an induction cooktop with a new rangehood to improve thermal efficiency.
