Great location. We were a group of 5 adults and were very happy with the amount of room we had. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

The rental served our needs well. The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the city in general. The space was ample for our family, and we were able to host our local family as well. It comfortably held six adults and five teens/kids with the upstairs and downstairs living space. The only problems were the lack of advertised AC units (but it was cool enough at night to open windows), and some damage to the flooring that a couple of us tripped on. Overall, it was a good experience, and we will rent again when visiting NB.

The welcome email clearly stated that there were 2 AC units upstairs and one downstairs. All three were in a storage room downstairs. When I inquired about these I was told that they’re not normally out until mid July. Noting that every day we were there it was 32C and felt like 40C. The washer still had towels in it and they stank. The dryer was very full of sheets that were damp. The dryer did not work properly. We had to take our things to a laundry mat. There are issues in the living room and dining area where the vinyl floor is peeled upward and you end up scraping your feet along it. The front lawn was not mowed, making for an unwelcome first impression. The basement bathroom shower liner was full of mold. When I reached out to the host about the laundry and molds shower curtain, not much was said other than we could have a late checkout time - which we did not request or need. Regarding advising that the dryer did not work, he said that it just stopped working properly before we checked in. I don’t believe this to be true - the dryer looks to be in rough shape with dials missing. What was good: the space (5 bedrooms), the central location and the cost. I would not recommend. Also it would take quite a while to hear back from the host. We are not ones to complain but this was a poor experience and very disappointing to all of us.
