Getting around Having a vehicle is essential for exploring all that the area has to offer. The road leading up to Terry Peak is well-maintained and fully paved. During the winter months, a four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended for safe travel.
The Terry Valley neighborhood is ideally located—just minutes from Lead, 6 miles from Deadwood, and 18 miles from Sturgis. We’ve placed a magnet on the cabin’s fridge with the contact info for a local cab company that offers regular pick-up and drop-off service.
The driveway can comfortably fit a pickup truck with one trailer. If your group has two trailers, one may need to be carefully backed into the parking pad located on the north side of the house.

Honestly an amazing location. Our group stayed here to snowboard at Terry Peak. You really couldn't stay any closer to the resort since they don't really have ski in ski out options. Lovely cabin and an amazing hot tub. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
The house was great and very clean! Great amenities and comfortable beds. The hosts were very responsive and flexible. The only note is that it would be nice to have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in the bathrooms as well coffee filters for the coffee machine.

Thanks for staying with us, we can definitely supply those items!
Awesome stay! This was the perfect house for myself and my friends to stay. Plenty of room for all of us. Perfect location to stay away from all the rally craziness. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We loved spending our family Christmas here. We did a lot of cooking and the cabin was very well stocked with cooking utensils. Beds and linen were very comfortable. We definitely will be staying again.
The cabin was perfect for skiing at Terry Peak. The kids were able to walk to the ski resort. The cabin was very nicely decorated and was equippeed with everything a family would need. Highly recommended!
We had some issues with the automated emails and lack of info coming from Vrbo but the owner reached out personally and took care of everything. The house was great. Super cute and clean. The beds and pillows were comfy. I am weird and always bring my own TP because I hate the cheap stuff but they had the same stuff I brought. All amenities were nice. Great stay!
