About this property

The Chill Line - 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms - Historic Union Building, Downtown Hood River with Rooftop Views

Prized Union Building Condo is a place to chill with big Columbia River views, lights of White Salmon and easy walking distance to enjoy downtown Hood River. The waterfront is a short walk to brew pubs, the marina and more.

The condo is on four levels, each with a view. The main floor entering from Cascade Ave. has the main room and kitchen with large windows flooding the area with north light. There is a bedroom and bath on the main floor. Down one flight of stairs there is the primary suite with a queen bed and a window seat to enjoy the view. The primary bath has quartz counters and a large shower. An office is on the same floor.

The roof top patio is a special place with chairs, a grill and views for miles. The railroad track can be seen and heard so one can dream of adventurous places to travel. The lights of White Salmon sparkle at night.

The lowest level has a narrow entry on the north side leading to an extra long garage. There is plenty of room for sports gear. A Sprinter type van will not fit on the drive to the garage.

The Union Building at one time was a fruit processing building for the busy orchards of the Hood River Valley. It is has been converted and repurposed with high end finishes celebrating the history and the future of Hood River.
