The house was perfect for us with young kids. There is a rumpus room with toys, lots of outdoor space and the property is fenced to keep little ones in. There is also a playground down the road. The house itself was immaculate, very clean and has lots of space to spread out. The location was great, within walking distance to the hot pools, enchanted forest and rodeo. Highly recommend this property and its hosts.

Such a great stay in Methven. From check in with treats on the bench to the natural products in the showers we were so well taken care of here. A huge house with multiple areas to relax if not skiing. Electric blankets on beds, plenty of pine cones anbd dry wood for cozy fires in the efficient wood burner. A drying cupboard and even a first aid kit. This house is excellently equipped, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Thanks to our hosts for creating the space and for having us to stay. As a side note we also drove to Ashburton one day when the mountain was closed and checked out VR and Retro which was a very cool gaming place. Kids loved it.

Family friendly, plenty of space, warm [fabulous fire] and had everything we needed, eating in some meals and out for others. Close to everything. We walked to the hot pools!

Great stay at this wonderful warm and cosy house in Methven. So much space for two families to spread out. Great amenities. Everything there you need for a comfortable ski trip. Excellent drying room. Would love to stay again.

Excellent house. Very warm. Layout worked very well and could comfortably fit two families or a range of ages. The drying cupboard was perfect for ski gear. Close to the Opuke pools, easy walk to town, and great place to stay for skiing at Mt Hutt.
