This rental was appropriately named elegant farmhouse cottage. Attention to detail was paid throughout this cottage, but we particularly loved the kitchen. It was very clean and stocked with a great array of dishes, pans, and appliances. The property the cottage sits on is very large and set up to enjoy with a fire pit and picnic table. It was very quiet and peaceful during our whole stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This farmhouse cottage was lovely. The hosts were attentive and the property was very peaceful. The home was extremely clean and cozy. Our family loved the apple orchard, fire pit, hammock and frequent deer visits. The location is very quiet yet a close drive to all of the sights. We would love to come back again.

Lovely very clean home and property especially the peaceful setting and deer! The old gas stove seems to leave a gas smell- noticed upon entry. We kept windows open. One minor issue is the guest room bathroom fan runs constant. Maybe the automatic feature needs adjusting? Cozy bed! Great hot showers.

Thanks Melissa. Glad you enjoyed your stay. The stove has pilot lights like all vintage stoves. The stove is tested regularly, there are safety shut offs and there is no leak. It is just how vintage stoves are! Thanks again for staying.

We loved this property so very much! Our stay was extremely pleasant and the home had many thoughtful touches throughout, not to mention the charming decor, small appliances and furniture (some restored from the original home). We also adored hearing and seeing the backyard furry friends and enjoyed the fire pit. Hope to be back in the beautiful area soon and highly recommend this property (also interested in their other properties in the area). Thank you Jo and Ed for your vision and undertaking this immense labor of love project to share with others - we loved it!

We had a lovely time staying at this immaculately restored property in Fort Bragg! We even had three deer greet us on the lawn in the AM before we left. What a magical spot to stay in while exploring the Mendocino Coast.

This place is absolutely incredible! The home is a beautifully remodeled, cozy farmhouse. The yard is huge with large old trees, a fire pit and a hammock. My family and I really enjoyed our time here and will be back!
