The host was informative and welcoming; the amenities in good shape, including a hot tub with fresh water; a well-stocked kitchen (except we couldn't find a teapot); and an overall very comfortable vibe.

I am so glad you had such a comfortable stay! It sounds like the hot tub and well-stocked kitchen were just what you needed for a relaxing getaway. I’m so sorry about the missing teapot—I’ll make sure to get one tucked into the cupboard right away so it’s there for your next visit! I’d love to have you back soon!

The house was mostly as described. We had a lot of issues with mice and poop in and around the kitchen area. Having to clean it off the counters daily. The rooms were great as was the backyard and the small beach was awesome.

So glad you got to enjoy the great rooms, awesome backyard, and small beach. I am so sorry about those pesky country critters getting into the kitchen! That's definitely #CottageLife, I really appreciate your patience while we my helpers work on keeping those tiny uninvited guests out 🐭🌾

Just what the doctor ordered

We booked this cottage for 3 nights over 13th to 16th of August 2026. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and our son's 29th birthday. Also wanted a get away again this year for our dog Sylvie as she is 16yrs now and unsure of how much time we have left to spend with her going away to Lake Huron and others. The location and property and of course the jaw dropping view, left us speechless. So beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and weather co operating and listening to the waves was just magical. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Even the neighbors on the street were so friendly and helpful of where to go to eat and swim etc. Highly recommend staying here and would not hesitate to book this exact cottage for next year or anytime. It was truly exceptional. Thank you Cottage Stays. You never disappoint.
