Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
There is uncovered/unfinished air vent holes all over the ceiling. No bedroom door. Fridge was not cleaned out, and even had half eaten McDonald’s Mcflurries stuffed inside. Listing says it is soundproof, which is not true at all, you can hear every breath and step the upstairs tenant/owner takes. Also there is no private entry as described. You have to go through the owners garage into his porch (where there is also a door to the owners home which only locks from the other side) to enter. But unfortunately when you enter the porch you do not get the real door shown in the listing to the rental space, and in fact get a folding accordion door that does not lock or ever fully cover the doorway. I did not stay. When I left the property to return to my car, the host showed up outside my car window and as I explained my concerns he coldly dismissed them and essentially just told me too bad because the garage door locks so I shouldnt be worried. After discussing these concerns with the host he denied my refund then proceeded to try to ghost the customer service team when they reached out to get me my money back. would not recommend, this was a real bummer. :(
