Peaceful, quiet location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had never visited the area before, so we were looking for a relaxing lake vacation spot that was close to everything. This spot was perfect, the lake is very peaceful and quiet. It’s a beautiful, wooded area with lots of nature to see (bald eagles, loons, deer, wild turkeys and more). The home was clean and has its own boat dock with nearby fire pit, which we found useful during our stay. The home is well equipped, but in the hotter summer months some form of AC would definitely be beneficial as it does get a little warm. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental and this area for your quiet, peaceful lake vacation!

Fantastic Hideaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were celebrating our 40th college reunion with 4 friends all across the country. We loved Loons Hideaway. It was quiet, pretty to look out at the lake and had a big, beautiful kitchen and dining table we could sit and have long, relaxing conversations. We brought our own floaties and relaxed in the water 3 days for several hours. Kathy was very responsive when we asked questions. We would highly recommend this stay. It was clean and had amazing chairs out of the huge deck overlooking the water. Great place to sit and read a book or have lunch on the picnic table (with umbrella).

Our stay was nice, but it started off on the wrong foot. We didn't have have a check in book, but once we contacted the host and she dropped it off it was good. She was super nice and very helpful. We stayed in June and it was a lot cooler than expected. We ran the furnace, which gave off a mildewy smell. The neighbors were closer then expected, but everyone we ran into was very kind. The fish cleaning house came in handy when we caught some fish. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
