We had a lovely stay with our 3 grandchildren and our dog. The pool was just what the teenagers needed to pry them away from devices each day. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and morning coffee on the deck was fantastic.
We had an amazing weekend in this home. Located right on Lake Erie with easy access to the lake. The home itself is perfect for sharing with friends and family as there are 2 bathrooms and the bedrooms are separated for privacy. We did not stay while the pool was open but the backyard would be amazing in the summer. We loved the hot tub. The hosts were extremely quick to reply and yet were not intrusive. Overall a wonderful weekend!
Our family of 5 had a great stay at this beautiful cottage on the water. Host was communicative and Antonio is a gem of human. We had HVAC issues that were addressed promptly but still ended up costing us a full day of our vacation while I dealt with service calls. The water in front is not what I would call swimmable however Antonio let us in on a little secret sandy beach just down the road which was perfect. The listing is described as it is. Since the HVAC issue was more or less random mechanical breakdown, the only area that should be improved is additional kitchen items. Kitchen has plenty of dishes but lacked enough pots and pans etc for cooking for a family.I would recommend this place to any family looking for a quiet and restful stay.
This cottage is very nicely decorated and the lake view is perfectThey do not offer any toiletries in the bathrooms or dish towels or foil or saran wrap in the kitchen so bring your own We did enjoy the hot tub but its very dated The bbq was very old but useable and was told it was going to be replacedWe had a problem with the wifi when we first got there but the host came right over and got it working The host is very available and will get back to you quicklyThe living room is small , it only has 1 love seat and 2 small chairs and a very nice fireplaceWe went in March so we did not use the poolOverall is was nice

The home was spacious and clean but some areas looked a bit tired and poorly maintained. We didn't use the hot tub as the water looked dirty. The fan in the dining area came on by itself which had us wondering how safe the electrical was. The house is across the street from Lake Erie and not directly on it. The house is located in a area where there is no municipal water so water use is restricted to what the cistern can hold. If you don't mind an old cottage probably fixed up by a handyman with good intentions, this is the place for you. It's located in a beautiful area of the province!
Stay was very lovely! This is a great space for enjoying lake views and lounging at the pool. Lucked out with gorgeous weather so had a few pool days instead of heading to beach. Unfortunately, lakeshore was too slippery and stinky while we were there. But can’t control nature! Spacious, clean and welcoming. Only suggestions are to bring games, hair dryer, and wash cloths. They are not in included. Also, bring bikes! Lots of biking around the area and beautiful views along the lakeshore!
Was clean and very spacious inside. Backyard was very nice with the pool and hot tub.Beach was very rocky, bring water shoes.Listing has a camera that overlooks the backyard and is monitored by hosts.Checkout seemed rushed, checkout was at 11am, but a water delivery arrived at 9:45, which made us feel rushed to pack up and leave

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the spacious, clean home, backyard, pool, and hot tub during your stay.
We did want to clarify a couple of points for future guests reading this review. Our exterior security cameras are in place for security purposes and to verify guest count and any pets on the property that have not been registered. The camera referenced was moved away from the backyard for the duration of your stay to ensure your privacy while enjoying the outdoor amenities.
As we are often booked back to back, necessary services and deliveries occasionally need to be scheduled on checkout days to prepare the property for incoming guests. The water delivery at 9:45 a.m. was not intended to rush your departure in any way, and guests are always welcome to enjoy the property until the scheduled 11:00 a.m. checkout time.
We appreciate you staying with us and are happy to hear you enjoyed the home and its amenities.
We had a wonderful stay. Everything that was needed was provided. We also appreciated the suggested sightseeing opportunities and restaurants.
