The unit itself was great for our needs, and the location was incredibly convenient. We specifically booked this unit because it was right next to my sister-in-law’s unit at Kingston Plantation, and it ended up being the perfect setup for our family — close enough to spend time together, but still have our own space.The unit was comfortable and worked well for our stay. My main frustration was with the check-in process through the management company. We were required to drive about 10 minutes out of the way to their office to check in/get the key, but no one was there when we arrived — and the “key” ended up simply being a door code that could have easily been messaged to us. That extra step felt unnecessary and inconvenient, especially after a day of traveling.Overall, we enjoyed the unit and the location, but the check-in process would make me hesitant to book through this management company again unless that process is improved.

While some of our properties do utilize door codes for entry, our check-in procedure is designed to verify the identity of arriving guests, review important rental information, and help ensure the safety and security of our owners' properties. During regular business hours, we are able to verify individuals picking up keys and checking in. For guests arriving after hours, our secure key pickup box is monitored by video surveillance, allowing us to verify check-ins and maintain records of who is accessing the property even though we are not in the office. These measures help protect both our homeowners and our guests. We recognize that travel days can be tiring, and we understand that an additional stop may feel inconvenient. However, these procedures are an important part of our commitment to security and responsible property management. Your feedback is valuable, and we continually evaluate our processes to balance guest convenience with the safeguards our homeowners expect. Thank you again for your comments.
