While the out of country owner made it clear it was a budget friendly location, and that it was old, there were a few things completely unacceptable. First, I did acknowledge we would have 2 towels. I literally did not expect there to be NO OTHER toiletries or towels. No handtowels, no washcloths, no kitchen towels. When I tried to get some, they said that I agreed to that. I also had less than 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper. I was paid for 2 days. They said they would bring more the next day. Unacceptable. There were no paper towels. Body wash had 1 shower left. The facility was basic, which I accepted. Bed was atrocious, though. It folded like a taco. I asked for a refund for the 2nd day only, which the homeowner refused. I accepted it was basic, but 2 towels, no toilet paper and no body wash, with very very limited kitchen utensils made the price and listing not worth it at all.
