Smooth easy transition. Arrived when it was dark, would’ve been nice to have a porch light on. A little unclear as to which door the code was for - instructions stated unit one, could have stated that was the lower level. Other than that it was great.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall and appreciated the smooth arrival experience. We do want to clarify that the property has two exterior doors, both using the same entry code, since it is one single rental unit. The main entrance is the upper-level door located next to the driveway, while the lower-level door near the hot tub is an additional access point.
Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to host you again soon!
The cabin is very practical, cozy and functional. Location is absolutely amazing and communication with the host was perfect. We would absolutely stay there again!
Really enjoyed our stay here. It’s got some room for upgrades in the future but we loved the wrap around deck, views, seclusion and location to popular attractions. Would absolutely recommend!
The cabin was as the listing showed. Great location and all that we needed for our trip. It is dated but no surprises you can’t see from the photos. The Pac-Man game was a nice surprise!
This cabin is a hideaway so close to all the amazing amenities of gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The host Selina is so sweet and made our stay so amazing even with a door mishap. She was quick to respond to an issues we had. 10/10 would recommend this cabin.
Great location and clean. Trolley stop close by which is convenient for going to downtown. Enjoyed relaxing on porch/deck. Saw bears several times over several days!
Stayed in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Great Smokey Mountains. Amazing views absolutely stunning . Lots to see and do from great restaurants to all the fun . Mini golf, go karts hiked in the national park . Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have it all to offer for family fun.
We had an amazing time at the cabin and our host Selina went above and beyond accommodating and resolving the small issues we had. We loved every single minute we spent at the cabin we will certainly come back.

Easy check-in and good communication, but overall not a great experience—especially for the price. We heard animals scratching in the walls, the grill had no propane, and the cabin wasn’t very clean (lots of stink bugs). The info book was outdated, and the VRBO photos didn’t match the inside setup. It’s just upsetting that we planned to do a cook out and enjoy our time, be able to rest but we wasn’t able to do any of that. Not enough TP, towels, and trash bags. Also our trash can was pretty full so we didn’t have a place to throw away all bags. Overall, it felt overpriced for what we got and needs improvement. Hopefully there is improvement because it’s a beautiful place with the perfect location.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you chose to stay with us and appreciate you highlighting our communication.
We’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. As a cabin in the Smoky Mountains, occasional insects like stink bugs can appear despite regular cleaning and pest control efforts, especially during certain seasons.
We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can promptly address any concerns—whether it’s propane, trash pickup, or anything else. Our team is happy to assist in real time, and we would have gladly taken care of these items for you.
We take pride in maintaining a clean cabin and providing a comfortable experience for our guests, and we appreciate your feedback. We welcome any questions from guests as we are always available. We're glad you found all other aspects of your experience to your satisfaction!
There was enough room to fit 3 families comfortably. The location was perfect as we were able to take the trolly to downtown Gatlinburg. The house had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to see a mama bear and her 3 cubs throughout our week stay!
We LOVED staying at Beorn’s Cottage! Perfect for a large family. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. Don’t worry.. so did the adults!!! This place will forever hold so many good memories in our hearts and we hope to one day return. Thank you for hosting this beautiful home.
Everything as advertised.
Nice cabin, easy parking, lots of space. We had one minor issue with gas logs not operating. Host had someone out to repair in just a few hours which was really fantastic and we were in business.
Everything was great about our stay. It was so nice to have the space for our party of six to spread out, but also have common areas for us to hang out. The hot tub, pool table, and tvs made the rainy day enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped and the coffee was stocked. The location was about a 15 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg which made going into town/hiking easy. I would recommend!
The large, spacious cabin is nicely appointed and has a sunny, open ambiance. The kitchen is well stocked, and the table is quite large, with eight chairs and ample room. The table could accommodate up to ten without a problem. The decks are large and safely constructed. The driveway is a bit challenging but not as difficult as some, and is level with the upstairs porch and main floor. The location is ideal for both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The view includes other cabins in the area, with the mountains visible over the next ridge. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient place for any visitor to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Family vacation
We were taken back on the roads that had to be driven to get to the house. Driving those roads to get to the pool was nerve racking. Also we didn’t use the hot tub as my son is a contractor and he didn’t feel there was adequate support and there were many boards on the deck that had rotten spots that should be addressed. It slept 12 but the table only accommodate 8peoPle. Finally the pull out couch didn’t have any sheets on it

Hi Gary, Thank you for taking the time to review the cabin. I wanted to take a moment to respond to the concerns you brought up.
1. Our cabin is in the mountains, so the roads can be steep but remain two lanes the entire time. We note this in our listing so guests can anticipate the roads before arriving.
2. Before the hot tub was installed, we had the deck reinforced for the hot tub by a licensed contractor. This was overseen by a structural engineer who was on site during the project to ensure the hot tub is adequately supported.
3. We had the deck inspected for rotting wood after you left, and the inspector found a few pieces showing wear but nothing that warranted concern. We have gone ahead and replaced the few planks they did find.
4. The sheets for the pull out couch are in the closet in the loft bedroom. If you had reached out to us we could have resolved this issue.
We strive to provide the best experience for your trip to the Smoky Mountains. Thank you for your feedback. It is always welcome and appreciated as it helps us improve.
