Sea Glass is a 5-bedroom, 4 full bath, 2 half bath home built in 2015 with a marvelously convenient location. The house is a short walking distance to Cape San Blas favorite, The Trading Post, and offers a close-up view of St. Joseph’s Bay while the rear of the home looks out to the Gulf. This positioning offers a beautiful water view from almost every room. Private beach access is a short walk to the sandy white shorelines of the Cape. You will never tire of the long views of St. Joe Bay, up-close sights of the tip of Pig Island where the bird watching is great, and the sunrise from this side of the home is incredible. Every level is easily accessible via an indoor elevator.
Top Floor Features:
Open and airy, this is a wonderful space to gather and stretch. The Living room with a 60” Smart TV and Sound Bar is open to the dining table which comfortably seats 8. The upgraded and fully stocked kitchen features Stainless Steel appliances, Quartz Counter Tops, and a large Island with extra bar seating for 4. French doors open onto a large balcony that serves as outdoor living space for all. This floor offers (1) bedroom. Guests with mobility limitations and the “early birds” have enjoyed this suite since it is like a 1-bedroom ranch. This King room offers the best Gulf views of all the rooms in the house and features a private bathroom and sliding glass doors that open onto a large private balcony. A half bath finishes out the top floor.
Second Floor Features:
The Second Level offers 3 bedrooms. (1) The Master bedroom faces the Gulf. The views from the king bed of the sunrise over the Bay are incredible. Some might be inspired to get up and bike the 9-mile bike path, others may want to just lie and enjoy the majesty of the morning or turn on the 52” smart TV to get the fishing report. The master has a large walk in shower, soak tub, water closet, double sinks with quartz counter top. French doors lead to the shared balcony. (2) The second bedroom is dubbed the “bunk room.” This room sleeps 4: a double bunk, a single top bunk, and a single trundle. It is equipped with its own private bath and 40” smart TV and shares the large balcony with the Master. (3) The third room is a Gulf view bedroom featuring a queen bed, private bathroom and 32” Smart TV. It is the only room with access to the pool via a large private balcony. A full-sized washer/dryer laundry room are on this level.
Ground Level Features:
The Ground Level features 1 cozy bedroom dubbed “the whale room” with a twin bed and twin trundle. On this level is a large half bath. The half bath is loved for its imported Mexican sink and quartz counter top. A second refrigerator is also located on this level.
Most people seem to live outside the home at the private pool (can not be heated). There is a covered area with a table and seating for 6. In this space is a sink and a private outside shower offering hot/cold water. The pool has a sun shelf that is wonderful for supervised small children to sit and splash. There are 4 lounge chairs for sun bathers and Adirondack chairs to kick back and relax in. The gas grill is ready for your BBQ.
