Second stay in this beautiful home! The hosts are wonderful!Everything was clean.Everything in the kitchen worked great and we cooked multiple meals. Will continue to book for future stays!
Being a history buff, I really enjoyed learning about this restored 1844 property, and how it was the birthplace of one of Canada's first internationally recognized artists, Homer Watson. I enjoyed meeting Dan, who did much of the renovations himself, and hearing about how they were done. It's a great location in a heritage neighbourhood, and also centrally located, meaning it's a great base from which to explore surrounding areas, such as the nature trails of the Grand River valley and historic town centres (Stratford, Cambridge, Paris, etc.). I hope to stay there again!

Thank you for the lovely review Timo!
It was a pleasure hosting you, we are so glad you enjoyed the property and learning about the history of the home.
Please come back any time!
The home was truly beautiful! Had every amenity necessary to make the stay pleasant and comfortable. Didn't lack in any tools for cooking, everything was clean, the shower was amazing, and the fireplace made every night before bed lovely and warm.Host was very helpful and pleasant. Located 4 minutes from a shopping plaza, and it wasn't overly busy or crowded even at peak hours on a Saturday. Had no trouble navigating to and from the home to downtown Waterloo, Kitchener, and Cambridge. This is now my #1 location for future stays in the area!
