Centrally located Victorian shotgun duplex offering an authentic New Orleans stay. Just a short walk to Downtown and the Superdome, and about 1 mile to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Features a stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, and a private fenced backyard with fire pit, Adirondack seating, and BBQ. Ideal for Mardi Gras, Essence Fest, Saints games, Jazz Fest, Sugar Bowl, and holiday trips.

Like many areas of New Orleans, the neighborhood is undergoing some renovations just like this house did. Some homes have been completely restored and others are awaiting their salvation! While some spots in the area may look a little rough, we've never experienced any safety issues here and our neighbors are wonderful people!

The property is clean and well maintained. While we were a little unsure about the neighborhood at first, we had no issues at all and found everyone we interacted with to be absolutely lovely and very friendly.The location was a huge plus - close to everything we wanted to do, and a Trader Joe’s, Waffle House, and Ruby Slipper just a short walk away (bonus!). The house has a noticeable downward slope toward the back of the house (kitchen/bathroom), which is worth mentioning. We also had an issue with the dryer during our stay, but the host had a repairman on site within hours - which was impressive and very much appreciated.
