We had such a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and honestly the perfect setup for a family with pre-teen and teenage kids. The huge pool was definitely the highlight for them; they spent so much time swimming and had an absolute blast. We’ve always stayed on the ocean side before, so staying on the sound side was a little different for us, but we actually ended up really enjoying it! It was so quiet and peaceful, and having no one directly behind the house made it feel wonderfully secluded. On two of our mornings, we even had deer come graze behind the house while we watched them, which was such a fun little vacation memory.Getting to the beach was also incredibly easy. We just loaded the kids and all of our beach gear into the car and drove over to the Sailfish public beach access parking lot, which was only about a 4 minute drive away. The parking lot was never full while we were there, so it was super convenient. You could very easily walk to the ocean side as well, but with four kids and all the beach gear, we found driving over and parking was much easier!I also really appreciated the safety gates to the pool. Our oldest is on the autism spectrum, and even though he’s older now, I still always have that little bit of worry in the back of my mind. Having those extra safety measures gave me some added peace of mind, and the overall setup worked so well for our family! Would definitely stay here again!

Overall this house was awesome. Nice size bedrooms, kitchen and living room. On arrival one of the bedrooms had a fairly large blood stain on the mattress cover that was visible through the fitted sheet. I did call ans they brought a new one the next day but that was gross. 2 of the bathroom tub/showers and the outside shower could have been cleaned better. The pool was very nice and plenty of seating out their. There was a pool guy that came to clean the pool as well. Lots of porches to see beautiful views. Our group has vacationed together for years and this was our favorite house.

The house was excellent. There should be linens available for all extra pillows. The door to the pool was in the room with the bunk beds. In my opinion there was be an alarm so parents know if kids go out that door. Other than that I would highly recommend this house.
