This is a fantastic home located right on Clear Lake. The property has a beach, dock, and fire pit available for use. Inside, it is spacious and comfortable to live in. Absolute gem of a property.

I have stayed at many properties and this one is the favorite of all. The house is in a great location with a great view, very homey and comfortable. The area is very quiet. Just a fantastic stay overall.

The host Craig was amazing at taking care of anything we had questions with and organizing our stay. By far the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Despite the cold weather, he still had the house set up to fully enjoy it. The house is immaculate, stocked, great location, and laid out perfectly! Does not mater what time of year you stay here, it will be a great experience, Craig ensures that! Thank you Craig for making our trip for our daughters baby shower a great memory and your house will always be part of the memories we made this past weekend!

This place was so beautiful! It was such a nice spot for a weekend getaway. It was peaceful and having the lake right in your backyard is just fantastic. The host was very kind. We will definitely be back!

A fantastic spot! Easy communication with our host. All of our needs were met. Great kitchen, comfy beds good gathering space for our tribe. Just beautiful. Love the s’mores and bonfire. The outdoor lakeside space is gorgeous and perfect for bbq and outdoor dining. Thank you!

We loved our stay in Oxford. The house was great and the property was so nice with the sandy beach and dock. This was one of the best equipped houses we have rented. We had all the necessities and some nice extras. We visited downtown Oxford which had shops, breweries and restaurants. Nice golf courses and a great park with a splash pad (so much fun for our toddler) were nearby. Craig was a wonderful host and would love to stay again.

Overall the property is pretty nice. The house is well-furnished and there was plenty of space inside the home and it was very clean when we arrived. The upstairs is a unique layout; go up a half-flight of stairs and then the stairs split with another half-flight left and right with one bedroom and one bathroom to the right and the other 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to the left. There were a few things that we were somewhat disappointed in:1. The house is on well water and the only drinkable filtered water is on a very slow tap on the kitchen sink. The water in the rest of the house had a very strong iron/sulphur taste and smell, not sure why the water softener system didn't remove it. The water and ice on the refrigerator were not hooked up.2. The lake isn't very good for swimming, there was a lot of grass, seaweed and muck starting just a few feet offshore and the shallow water extends well out into the lake. The sand beach area right by the water is very nice though and we enjoyed the firepit and included s'mores as well as the canoe.3. The house is set on a pretty small lot so there wasn't a lot of grass area for the grandkids to play on. I guess I thought it looked bigger in the pictures.4. In the master bedroom there aren't any blinds on the high window above the bed and the sliding door only has a sheer curtain on it so it got very bright rather early in the morning. The neighbors were very friendly and it was a quiet neighborhood so that was good.

The perfect lake house!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Easy check in. Perfectly clean and well decorated. Good layout and amentities. Nice sandy beach with dock. Great firepit looking out onto the lake. Everything about the stay was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Why they chose this property


Our home is located on a quiet street between 2 of a chain of 5 lakes. You will rarely go a minute without seeing a crane, duck, goose, or swan float by. One of the best fishing spots is right off the dock on the property.
All 5 lakes allow motorized boats. You will mostly see pontoon boats. The no wake time from 9pm until 8am,
It's peaceful here. You will find the neighbors to be kind and helpful. I would consider it very safe. I lived in the home for the first few years after I built it, and I never locked the doors...even when I traveled for work.
This is a great place to go to relax and recharge
