Overall once we got over the hurdle of being asked to use the hosts check in portal, the house was very pleasant. There are some things you should be aware of in the neighborhood. 1. The property is on a heavily populated street. As in, there is no parking for larger vehicles other than the sloped driveway. Every house on the street has 4 vehicles associated with it, meaning people park on both sides, and the sidewalk. At night the street is crowded and looks like a scene from Mumbai. 2. I made some suggestions to the host to improve the sound deadening with the co tenants in the granny flat at the back. Basically the separation between you and the long term tenant is minimal at best. You can clearly hear them and vice versa. 3. The bedrooms are amazing, but there's a lack of hooks in the bathrooms for clothes or towels. 4. The TVs in the house are super high and they're only available on the lower level in the kitchen and the front living space. Ideally one should be up in the loft area facing the kitchenette for a good hangout area away from the co tenant. 5. The gym is well equipped but was disorganized when we stayed. I took the time to organize equipment logically and then it was good. 6. Kitchen is well kitted out. Possibly too many cupboards as some items were too high up. Overall it's a great house with just a few things to be aware of. The neighborhood is new, but crowded.
