We stayed at this spacious and nicely laid out home for 3 days on a writing retreat, and found it to be conveniently located in terms of easy drives to Leigh, Matakana, Omaha Beach and Warkworth as well as a number of scenic walks. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked in terms of cutlery and dishes and pots and pans, and the backyard just stunning. We didn't use the bikes, games or books on offer but these were really nice touches. The host was quick to respond when we messaged here. The little community of Point Wells is really quiet and charming, a nice place for a family in particular I think.
