About this property
Charming & Cozy Cottage in Kincardine
THE WATERMAN is located on beautiful Boiler Beach Rd just outside of Kincardine. This 900 sqft cottage is a charming, clean, lakefront bungalow, renovated in 2019.
Looking for a “home away from home” this winter? We rent by the week or by the month during the fall and winter months.
Looking for the perfect summer vacation with your family? We rent from Friday to Friday so you enjoy the whole weekend and all the area has to offer.
Outdoors, enjoy the view of the lake with your favourite beverage hot/cold on the large deck. Cross the road to trail down to the "secluded public" beach for some sun and swim. You may stroll along the sandy beach for kilometers. Enjoy a run or bike along the picturesque stretch of Boiler Beach Rd (bring your own bikes). Included are 2 kayaks and life jackets, outdoor games, and a fire pit and wood in the backyard for you to use.
Indoors, you may lounge comfortably in the open living room and dining room with a view of the lake. In the evening you may find your favourite show on the Smart TV, try a board game, or enjoy a quiet read. The kitchen is fully equipped including an outdoor BBQ for home made meals. Sleep to the sound of the waves in one of 3 bedrooms; 2 with queen size beds, 1 with a set of single bunk beds. There is one bathroom and a washer and dryer for your convenience.
In nearby Kincardine, you have all the conveniences of shops, markets, and restaurants. In the winter there is cross country skiing (15min drive). In the summer you may launch your boat at the harbour (5min drive), play a round of golf (3 min drive), enjoy the amusements at Family Funland (5 min), listen to the Kincardine Pipe Band on Saturday nights, or attend one of the many weekend Summer Festivals.
