About this property
Inverhuron family cottage, steps to lake with view close to sand beach
A lovely cottage (1200 sq. ft.) with two bedrooms and 1 bath. One bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a king (can convert to a twin) as well as bunk beds. There is a full bath with tub and shower and full laundry in the basement. It is available weekly only, Sun-Sun.
The cottage has beautiful views of Inverhuron Bay from the living bay window and is just steps from the shores of Lake Huron. Your group can enjoy barbeques and bonfires on the large double deck with spectacular sunset views. It is only a short (5 min) walk to the beautiful, Inverhuron sand beach, children's playground and Inverhuron Provincial Park.
There is a fully equiped kitchen, air conditioning, high speed internet and a TV with Chromecast. The lower level of the house is rented year round to a permanent renter. The units are absolutely separate with no shared spaces.
For hygenic reasons, linens and towels are not provided. Beds will have duvets and quilts and renters are expected to provide top and fitted sheets as well as pillowcases. Since municipal waste programs vary significantly we request that if at all possible you sort your waste as you normally would and take your garbage and recycling home with you when you leave to be disposed of in your own municipality.
It is expected that renters leave the property clean and tidy for the next guests, just as they found it. A cleaning checklist cleaning equipment and supplies will be provided

About the host
Your host

I am a single mom who lives in Inverhuron and rents out my house, as a cottage in the summers for extra income. This will be my 5th summer renting but my first in this new house! The photos you see are with the previous owners furniture so it will look a little different once I move but I promise it will be even more beautiful and cottage-y!
Why they chose this property
Our home is just steps away from the gorgeous waters of Lake Huron and we see some of the world's most spectacular sunsets, right from our deck and living room. It is a short walk down a one way dirt road to the beautiful white sand beaches on Inverhuron beach and you can grab an ice cream cone along the way. You can also walk to Inverhuron Provinical Park or along many of the local trails including the new Kincardine to Inverhuron trail. Inverhuron is a short drive into Kincardine for the weekly bagpipe parade, wonderful restaurants and quaint local shops.
What makes this property unique
Full and private use of the upper level with a large multilevel deck with wonderful views of the bay and famous Inverhuron sunsets. There will be a BBQ, fire table, patio table and conversation set for your family and to enjoy and build lasting memories
