About this property
Spacious and private country estate
Welcome to Bellvue ✨
Cosy and spacious, our beautiful country home is the perfect spot for a getaway.
The Goulburn river is just 2 kms away with good swimming, fishing and boating. The Trawool hills and state reserve can be seen from the wrap-around verandah whilst you enjoy a cuppa in the hammock. Plenty of outdoor set-ups and bbq for relaxed and comfy time in nature and a place to watch the many species of birds by day, incredible stars at night and the dramatic sunsets sweep across the land. The space
Bellvue Estate is 40 acres of privacy and relaxation. You’ll have sole access to the house and 1 acre of fenced yard with fruit trees and gardens. The wrap around verandah looks over the lightly wooded paddocks where the odd kangaroo and Mary’s horses graze.
There is a wood heater in the informal lounge+kitchen for cozy nights by the fire with a local wine (Brave Goose winery just across the road!) and a bathtub for winter soaks. A fully equipped country kitchen with choice of formal, informal and outdoor dining so you can cook and enjoy the produce available from local farms and vineyards with Seymour only an 5 minute drive away if you prefer to grab a coffee or lunch in town.
Cars are kept safe under a double carport with more room for the boat/trailer.
If you're looking for a new house with state-of-the-art everything, it's not for you but if what you want is something clean, comfortable and charming and to be close to nature and have easy access to the road without compromising peace and privacy, then this is the place for you!
You can often spot kangaroos, echidnas, owls, native ducks and more just from the house.
Guests with accessibility needs will find a short concrete ramp onto the deck with all rooms on one floor, so no stairs to combat.
With over an acre around the house fully fenced, you can keep your pooch secured and comfy on the verandah.
We’ve moved the horses onto the back paddocks for the time being so you can now also enjoy a stroll amongst the open in the front 10 acre paddock.
All sleeping needs are attended to with quality linens, toiletries and towels as well as washer and dryer for convenience during longer stays.
