We had a wonderful week at this cottage. The cottage and waterfront are beautiful and match the description in the listing. The lake is perfect for swimming. The dog enjoyed the gradual walk-in access from the rocks lining the water and for humans there is a ladder to ease your way in. The fenced yard offered extra freedom for the dog to explore the property without us worrying about the busy road on the other side. The location 10 minutes from Carleton Place made it super easy to pop into town for supplies or dog walks. The hosts met us on arrival to show us the cottage and were proactive about communication from our initial booking and throughout our stay. We'd happily stay again and recommend this gem to others.

Offer all, all pictures shown are a arcuate discretion of the property, water area and dock even better than imagine, sandy area with limited weeds, water shoes would be ideal though.Property is located on a busy road, however it is also fully fenced in, and we had no worries of having our dog off leash. All facility where clean well maintained and plenty of Hot waterOwner very friendly and accommodating
