About the host
Hosted by Putri Asih
The Tree House is part of a family run lodge in the mountains of Bali. Our family have been living here since 2000, and we have put years of intention and energy towards providing the best experience for our guests while they're here with us.
Our lodge operates with sustainability at it's heart and strives to be a strong regenerative force in our community.
Why they chose this property
The area surrounding the lodge is a beautiful hilly landscape covered in food forests and small villages, far from the touristic areas of Bali that many of us would love to avoid. Nearby there is also Bali's largest rainforest which makes up the Mt Batukaru region. It's a great place to explore from!
What makes this property unique
We are Bali's Pioneering Eco Lodge and have been a leader in Eco tourism accross the island for over a decade. A stay with us will bring direct benefits to our local community and surrounding environment through our Eco Fund campaign. We sponsor and contribute to many classes, projects and initiatives which bring direct benefits to our area. A few examples are weekly English classes, weekly traditional dancing classes, tree planting projects and village infrastructure.
