Welcome to Tanderra, meaning “a place to rest.” Nestled in the beautiful seaside village of Camden Head, this welcoming beach house is designed for relaxed coastal living. Wake to the sound of waves, breathe in the salty sea air and unwind with sweeping ocean views from the deck.

Just a short walk from the pristine waters of Pilot Beach, Tanderra is the perfect base for families, couples or groups looking to enjoy the best of the stunning Camden Haven region. Whether you’re swimming, surfing, fishing, exploring coastal walking trails or simply enjoying sunset drinks on the deck, this is a place where holidays feel effortless.

Tanderra is a comfortable two-storey beach house with recent updates. Upstairs features an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that flows seamlessly onto a large viewing deck overlooking the coastline and North Haven Beach. From the front verandah you can also see ocean and distant headland of Bonny Hills.

The layout accommodates up to 9 guests, making it ideal for one or two families, or comfortably spacious for one or two couples.

A café and local shop are only a few minutes’ drive away, with a major supermarket in Laurieton (6 minutes) and Port Macquarie just 30 minutes by car.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please ensure the kitchen and BBQ are cleaned and all items returned to their original location prior to departure. (BBQ wipes are provided in the cupboard next to the oven)
Before you leave, please make sure to leave the louvres open on the pergola to allow air to circulate through the structure and return outdoor cushions to the garage
Please ensure all windows and doors are closed
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please no food in the downstairs rumpus room.

Why they chose this property

After living on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales for the past 15 years, we were always searching for “that place” that offered a sense of calm and restfulness to balance our busy lives. When we discovered Tanderra in beautiful Camden Head, we knew we had found it. We love the quiet, relaxed feel of the area and its close proximity to the beach, along with the opportunity to explore nature walks, fishing spots and boating on the waterways nearby. It’s a place where you can slow down, breathe in the sea air and truly switch off, and we hope you feel that same sense of calm as you arrive and enjoy your stay.
