Seaside Elegance - Business or Leisure

North facing sunny aspect all day within two minutes walk from Waiake Beach. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a home away from home. A delight for every season. Our place is right across from Aicken Reserve and Deep Creek, with the landing right opposite of our property. The Torbay Sailing Club and the Awatuna Sea Scout Club are right opposite, and the beach is a mere two minutes walk, offering every opportunity for swimming and other water sports. The beach is sheltered and very picturesque and a delight for most days of the year.

The apartment is fully kitted out with modern interior and offers every convenience for a longer term stay. There is a 65" TV with builtin applications for every modern subscription, such as Apple TV, Google TV, New Zealand TV channels, overseas TV channels, BEIN Sports, Sky TV, Formula 1, and many more. All you need to bring is your own license. The TV is supported by a JVC Dolby Surround system offering an amazing experience when watching movies, such as via Netflix.

Having raised our three sons down under, we have become empty nesters and have decided to move closer to the beach, and share this wonderful experience with visitors to Auckland from every part of the world. We are confident we have something very special to share, and we are curious to get your feedback - including learning things we should improve.

Why they chose this property

Why not have it all? Stay in Auckland and relax like you are in the Coromandel. Our place has a north facing aspect overlooking the Aitken Reserve with a two minutes walk to Waiake Beach - one of the best swimmable beaches in Auckland. It is scenic, it has the Torbay Sailing Club, and there are spots that are safe for swimming with children. There is bus stop close to the property which can take you into the city in 40 minutes. Local shops at Torbay offer all the amenities required, cafes, restaurants. The local Burger Burger offers street food and ice cream. For longer walks consider the low tide for a stroll along the cost, or use nearby Long Bay Beach for a 1km flat pristine stretch of sandy beach.

What makes this property unique

Waiake Beach is local gem. It is hilarious that most Aucklanders actually don't know where its. Good for you - it isn't overrun, and the community is very much local and close-nit. Many neighbours live hear because they love the ocean and this beach in particular, and they go swimming, sailing, or boarding even in winter times.
