We had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect; it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into making an exceptional experience for guests. The cottage was immaculate, very comfortable beds, and thoughtfully designed with a fully equipped kitchen. We will definitely be back. Finally, the host was very responsive, polite, and helpful, thank you!

I grew up in this community starting back in the 60’s. Spending time at the beach in the summer and playing ice hockey on the frozen ponds in the winter, the area has fond memories for me and my wife. The property has been in our family for many years and we love the peaceful tranquility it delivers. Many people have moved to the area to retire and have become quite fond as well. The summers are warm with a gentle breeze and little humidity making them quite comfortable naturally. We enjoy the relaxed lifestyle and closeness to nature . We love the beach and walks out to the sandbars. We also enjoy taking pictures of the awesome landscapes and framing our memories.

Why they chose this property

The neighbourhood is quiet and very private. The beach is the hub of summer activity. A few small stores within a short 20 minute drive enable one to spend relaxed time in the area without the constant need to shop. Tourist attractions abound with 2 light houses, a winery and many off-road trails for the enthusiasts. But most of all, the summer weather is warm and dry with a gentle breeze most days. Enjoy the sunrise and sunsets to their fullest.

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique as it has been restored from an 1867 united church post and beam construction. Fully renovated to the studs, this 750 square foot 2 bedroom cottage has a modern heating system with ac and air exchanger and a fully equipped kitchen. The interior finishes boast an 11 foot ceiling, large pine baseboards and trims. Our furniture is comfortable and practical leather along with wifi and free to use blue tooth devices. The deck is a charm with the original cedar shingles stained a bright blue and entails a private fence on one end. The driveway is large and enables 4 vehicles to park comfortably . Outside is a large 3 acre field leading down to the beach. A great area for walking your dog or yourself!
