Children and pets are the owner's responsibility. Have kids wear life jackets on the paddle board, canoe, kayaks, and pick up after your dog, please.
Only toilet paper in the toilet please. There is a garbage beside the toilet. Do tell us if the amber light comes on and we will attend to it for you.

A real home from home - actually better! We were really well looked after by Jan and George (and Pi the dog). The lakeside location is stunning and makes you feel like you're in the wilds, but Mahone Bay, Lunenberg, Liverpool, Summerville Beach are all within reach. Jan did our washing - fed us and gave us great tips on where to eat. We hope to return.

A funky little find on a clear water lake! Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with lots of seating areas outside & plenty to do inside. Jan takes a lot of pride in her property & it shows. Very friendly & helpful hosts, it’s a shame we could only stay one night. We will definitely be back!TL;DR - You should stay here, you will love it :)

Certainly not your typical soulless empty purpose built rental. Jan & George have filled their unique little space with interesting items. We spent three nights and every day noticed something else to look at. The wildlife is incredible, hummingbirds, fish, squirrels, it’s obvious they’re very fond of the property and their humans. And the friendliest dog ever! The water was crystal clear and absolutely beautiful for swimming. If you’re looking for a unique friendly nature surrounded place to stay where you’ll be treated like family, you’ve found it.

Very unique experience. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and there were so many thoughtful touches, including a homemade fruit / cheese try and chocolates.
