We really enjoyed staying in such a charming cottage! The beautiful ocean views from the house were fantastic and we loved the easy, across the street, beach access. The host was very friendly and even left us some lovely treats in the fridge!

A charming cottage across from a lovely beach. We loved watching the ferry come and go, and walking in the peaceful neighbourhood . Toby was a gracious host who was easy to communicate with. We would love to return sometime.

Loved staying here! It is the cutest house with so much character and beautiful stained glass. Location next to the beach was amazing. It was clean, beds are comfortable, and house is well stocked with necessities. Toby is a great and responsive host and kindly leaves you fresh food basics and drinks.

How lucky to stay in this little gem! An old time beach cottage that has been in the family for decades. Watch the Vesuvius Ferry sail by your living room window. The stairs to the public beach are right across the street - a great place to watch the sunset or go for a swim - we watched a few brave souls dive in on a sunny October afternoon! The location was superb. Walking down to the beach was so easy. The windows allowed for the bright sunshine to be part of our day, all the time! Toby is very helpful, providing advice and suggestions. Local walks were lovely. Saw deer, herons, eagles. A great place to get away and have a relaxing, quiet vacation.

The vacation home in Vesuvius was a charming seaside house (built I'm guessing in the 1930s) across a lane from the ocean and a beautiful beach. The house contains two good size bedrooms, a large living room and a well laid out kitchen which is bright and came fully equipped for a comfortable stay. It is a short distance from Ganges, the major centre of island activity. Perfect for exploring beaches, hiking and enjoying the artist vibe the Island is known for. The owner is friendly and helpful. We'll stay there again if we return to Saltspring Island. Highly recommended.

Right next to Vesuvius beach. Charming and specious cottage with wonderful artwork. Fridge was filled with nice treats as a welcome! Kitchen has all appliances that you can think of. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely come again.
