Whether you come alone or with your partner or in the group of 4 - you will feel comfortable in this spacious and unique place. 2 queen beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and hypoallergenic duvets; extra twin bed with memory foam mattress is available upon request. Rain shower. Rogers Cable TV & DVD collection, wall-mount Smart TV with Netflix. Fireplace. Well-stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, parking for 1 large or 2 small cars. Walking distance to the warmest ocean beach & Crofton ferry terminal. Good bus connection to other parts of the island. Vesuvius location

Great place and very clean. Two full bathrooms and nice kitchen. Lovely balcony. Lovely wisteria in parking areas. Bit of ferry traffic noise in front bedroom.

This suite is beautifully relaxing! It provides with far more kitchen amenities than what I expected. The host was wonderful. This is a suite we will be recommending to friends and family, and most likely may visit again. Thank you so much.

Condo on Vesuvius

Nice 2 bedroom condo overlooking the bay. Ferry service within walking distance. The guest bedroom could use lamps and both bedrooms need a dresser. However, the unit is nice, clean and in a great location.

Stay ruined by additional charge.

The unit and the stay was great. Some words of caution: It is an older building and the units are on septic so that can be an issue if the lines are not kept up and it is a rental where the fixtures are used a lot and that can also be an issue with loose hinges and what not so be aware. The extra charge is not worth it. Not only is it a challenge to contact a VRBO representative, they do not follow through. It is a great location if you need a place to stay in Vesuvius Bay that is close to the ferry and the beach. There is a restaurant across the street which is ok.

The place is clean and close to the beach, with amazing sunset views. We stayed as four adults for a wedding nearby and found it was spacious enough that everyone was comfortable. Would book again!

Comfortable accommodation steps to the beach

We love staying at this end of Salt Spring and were really happy to be able to rent a 2 bedroom unit in this development again and show off the island to our Ontario friends. Unit is perfectly set up for for two couples, and everything is as listed by the host and in good working order. Very nice to have our own barbeque on the rear breezeway! And of course, you can't beat the sunsets.

Cousins vacation

The location is good, the unit clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the view which included a visit from a fawn on the front yard. The pretty flower boxes on the balcony are a pleasant addition. We loved the beautiful island and all that it offered. The slow pace gave us the respite we needed. We just happened to come during a heat warning. The fans provided were inadequate to cool the place down. Air-conditioning would definitely push it from nice to excellent. It would have been nice to just put the final dishes in the dishwasher and running it without having to put them back in the cupboards. Over-all a wonderful stay, Thank you, Elena!

Peaceful and relaxing

Elena’s place was clean and well maintained, and had everything we needed. The setting was peaceful, relaxing and quiet other than a bit of traffic while the ferry unloaded. The nearby beach was enjoyed for swimming with the summer heat and sunsets. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Clean, quiet, and relaxing area. Nicely appointed condo with comfortable bed. Very close to Seaside Restaurant which offers dine in or take out. We came for the hiking, and we were not disappointed.

Welcome Retreat

This was a delightful condo that was right on point with what was advertised. My husband, daughter and her fiancé spent three wonderful nights here. We had a beautiful view of the ocean, a wonderful balcony with flowers, and plenty of privacy. The bedrooms and baths are nicely situated. We were just minutes from shops and cafes. Elena, our host, made contact with us early and made sure everything was in order. This property is so well kept and clean. It has all the necessary kitchen equipment you will need. The beds were comfy and linens were immaculate. This is an ideal place to stay. We plan to make another visit this year. Thanks again to our wonderful host!
