With 1.4 acres situated on Lake Nottely, you can kick back on our large deck with spectacular views overlooking the lake channel as breezes cool even on the hottest of days. If you like to swim, jump into deep water, float, kayak, paddleboard, peddle boat, or take your own boat to explore, you can experience it all here. If you wish to fish, some of the best fishing of Lake Nottely is just off of our dock, where large stripers and catfish have been caught. If you like to explore towns and mountainsides, we are just minutes from the Blairsville town square, 20 minutes from Blueridge, and 30 minutes from Murphy, NC. If you like to hike - the famous Appalachian Trail, breathtaking waterfalls (Helton Falls, DeSoto Falls, Blue Hole Falls, High Shoals Falls +), and mountaintop views (Bald Mountain, Blood Mountain, and more) are close. You can golf (Butternut, Old Union County), white water raft, tube (Pappy's), play mini-golf, bowl, and watch a movie all nearby. If you need refreshments, wineries, distilleries, and dining destinations are close too. (Living Water Winery and Vineyard, Odom, Paradise, Crane Creek, Granddaddy Mimms Distilling, Roadside Distilling, The Sawmill Place, The View, Michaelee's Italian Life Cafe, Lucky's, Coppertop, Hole-In-The-Wall, plus others.) Nestled in the woods, our 3-level log cabin sleeps ten comfortably with three bedrooms and two full baths. Relaxation is a given with large living spaces on the main floor and the lake level. There are also conversation areas on the upper deck, lower terrace, and firepit areas. We also offer Wi-Fi/Internet and four streaming TVs.

As you walk into the front door on the main level, you will know why this cabin is a gem. Your eyes will take in a spectacular 180-degree lake view that will make you want to stay forever. The open floor plan includes the kitchen, dining area, and living room spaces, making entertaining fun.

The kitchen is fully furnished with spices, a full pot/one cup Keurig, large and small pots, pans, skillets, an air fryer, a blender, hand mixer, baking pans, waffle maker, plates, bowls, silverware, serving ware, and a bar full of glasses for your enjoyment.

The dining area includes a large table for eight. The island has four stools for dining, prepping meals, or just talking to the chef. And the outside deck, with sliding glass doors, and a large grill and a smoker, offers twelve additional place settings.

The living room offers a comfy leather couch, loveseat, and leather chair for relaxing while you socialize, warm by the fireplace, or watch movies on the large TV. The foyer cabinet is stocked with wax melts (choose a scent) and loads of fun games.

On the lake level, Inside - you can relax, read, or watch sports, a movie, or play Xbox on the large screen as you enjoy the comfy leather couches and chairs. The black trunk is stocked full of fun games and warm, soft throws for your enjoyment. Snuggle up while you play games and warm by the wood-burning stove (Firewood is on the terrace). Also, if you are a pool shark, it is time to show off your skills on our 8 ft. pool table. The lake level sports a bar with a mini-fridge, a mini-icemaker, and a hot/cold water and K-cup dispenser. There is a full-size coffee maker under the bar. There are bar tools, plastic and paperware for your use. Behind the pool table is an armoire' where lake towels, warm throws, hats, bags, and the "I need it" basket are kept. Feel free to use the fresh towels and blankets. Also, you can hang your wet towels here to dry for future uses. If you forgot something, no problem, we have you covered. You may just find what you need in the "I need it" basket where there are sunglasses, readers, nail files, a hairdryer, bug spray, etc. You may also find toiletries, like toothbrushes and first-aid items, in the medicine cabinets, and under the bathroom lavatories. We have tried to include meaningful items that may make your stay more comfortable.

Open the sliding glass doors and step onto the lake-level terrace. There you can sink into the sofa and chairs or eat at the four top. To the left are floats and water items for your use. Just steps away, you will find the stone fire pit for an evening of fireside stories and smores. (The marshmallow sticks and smore makers are in the kitchen pantry cabinet.)


BED & BATHS

Every level has a phenomenal view!

The loft has a queen-sized bed, and a single pull-out sleeper loveseat, one dresser, and one armoire' with drawers and room for hanging clothes. The loft area also has a TV, an office space, a reading library stocked with books for all ages, an elliptical, weights, foam rollers, a jump rope, and a mat. There is one cubby on each side of the loft. The cubby closest to the bed contains baby items (baby monitor, pack-n-play, high-chair, gates, small stroller)

The main level hosts the Master bedroom with a king-sized bed and one antique fold-out fainting couch/sleeper - Great for two small children or one adult - an armoire for hanging clothes, a dresser, and a bench for your luggage. There is a full bath next to the Master bedroom. The stocked laundry area is located on the main floor bath area.

The lake level has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, an armoire for hanging clothes, a dresser, and a bench for your luggage. There is also a TV. There is a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed and a twin love seat sleeper in the main area. The full bath is located next to the bedroom.

LAKE & DOCK

As you stand inside the cabin looking out, it appears that the lake is an extension of the cabin. In fact, it is just a few steps outside the lake level, where you will find the dock. On the terrace or on the dock you will find multiple-sized life jackets, six floats, two paddleboards, and two kayaks, all with paddles. You must wear a lifejacket on any watercraft or risk getting a ticket from the GA Lake Patrol.

The dock has a broad platform for sunning, chairs for relaxing, two benches, and a table for early morning coffee, afternoon snacks, or a glass of wine or two.

If you have a license (get online), you can fish right off of our dock or take out a peddle boat for cove fishing. Our cove is known for some of the best catches on the lake. You will find fishing rods, a bait trap, and a fishing box with lures on the terrace. Good luck in catching the big one! Live bait can be purchased at the marinas or Walmart only 12-15 min. away.

BRING YOUR BOAT

You can bring your own boat during the summer months, and there is no cost. The public access boat ramp is just 5 minutes away. You can dock your boat alongside our dock, where we have installed ropes for your use.

OUTDOOR LIVING

This cabin hosts one large deck, one large terrace, one firepit area, one picnic orchard, and a dock area.
The main floor deck has two dining tables, an eight-seat and four-seat, for your use. There is also a bench by the Webber grill and chairs by Traeger smoker so someone can keep the Chefs company. (Please read instructions before using grill and smoker.)

The lake-level terrace offers one sofa, two chairs, one cooler bar, four-top table and chairs, Corn-hole, firewood for burning, fishing rods and equipment, and a rack for swim floats.

The firepit area is located just down the hill. Feel free to use the firewood and marshmallow sticks for a night of fun memory-making.

Sun by day or stars by night - Take a blanket and a lantern or two and head for the dock where you will see a star-lit night sky sure to stay in your memories for a lifetime.

(We have a strict 10:00 pm quiet policy for neighbors, so please play the quiet game outside after 10:00.):)

The area has so many things to do. There is something to interest everyone, including shopping, museums, farmers' markets, The Chimp Rescue, a casino, festivals, antiquing, fishing, white water rafting, tubing, zip-lining, horseback riding, waterfalls, hiking trails, wineries, Alpaca farms, golf. Blue Ridge, Murphy, Brasstown Bald, and Helen, GA, are just a short drive away. Jet-ski and boat rentals are available at local marinas.

We just recently cleared extra parking space to the right of the driveway up the hill by the garage. It will be pine-strawed once the leaves fall. This will allow vehicles easier access to the road.

OUR LOCATION

We are on LAKE NOTTELY located near the town of Blairsville, GA. We are approximately a 2-hour drive from the Atlanta airport and about the same from Chattanooga, TN airport. Less than 30 minutes from Blue Ridge or Murphy, NC
