About this property
The Bath House—Wellness Sanctuary by the Beach
Summary:
Poised above the surf at Gas Bay, The Bath House offers sweeping coastal views and a leisurely walk to the shore. Designed as a wellness sanctuary, this modern haven blends refined styling with calming spaces that encourage slow living. Multiple decks, native gardens and peaceful outdoor zones create a secluded retreat immersed in nature, while the sauna, ice bath, outdoor bathtub and home gym elevate every stay. All just minutes from Margaret River's renowned wineries, cafés and coastline.
The Space:
Set high above the coastline among established native gardens, this light-filled three-storey retreat captures cooling sea breezes and an effortless coastal rhythm from the moment you arrive. The top-floor living area is open and inviting, with soaring ceilings, plush seating and large sliding doors framing treetop and ocean glimpses. A built-in window seat offers a quiet place to pause with a book or morning coffee while natural light pours through the space.
The spacious kitchen is designed for gathering, complete with premium appliances, an oversized island bench and breakfast seating beneath statement pendant lighting. The generous dining area flows onto the entertainer’s deck, where alfresco dining, lounge seating and elevated ocean outlooks set the scene for long lunches and relaxed evenings outdoors.
On the ground level, the primary bedroom feels peaceful and private, featuring air conditioning, balcony access and a generous walk-in wardrobe. The ensuite embraces a calming spa-inspired aesthetic with soft stone finishes and a walk-in shower. Also on this level, the bunk room offers a comfortable setup for younger guests.
On the lower level, the third bedroom, family bathroom, second living area and laundry are thoughtfully arranged for flexibility and comfort. The second lounge opens directly onto tropical-inspired gardens, creating another tranquil space to unwind.
Wellness is woven into every corner of the experience here. Begin the day with a Pilates session, weight training or a sauna reset before making your way to the beach. On return, the third deck offers an ice bath to recover, an outdoor shower to rinse off and a freestanding bath to soak in beneath the tree canopy. Sheltered by lush gardens and timber screening, this private outdoor sanctuary is made for slow afternoons, post-swim rituals and still evenings under the stars.
Garage parking is available for up to four cars.
