About this property
Tully Cottage - a home among the gum trees
Tucked quietly amongst rambling gardens and birdsong, Tully Cottage is the kind of place that makes you slow down without even realising. Perched above St Helens with soft views across the hills and township below, this quaint little hideaway feels worlds away, while still being only minutes from town.
Wake slowly beneath crisp linen as morning light filters through the trees and native birds gather around the garden birdbath. Spend your days wandering the East Coast, mountain biking the world class trails, or simply staying put with a coffee on the balcony, watching the breeze move through the garden.
Inside, the cottage is simple, cosy and thoughtfully set up for longer stays, with two queen bedrooms, a compact kitchen, smart TV and everything needed to settle in comfortably. Outside, the garden becomes part of the experience — a peaceful place to share a barbecue beneath the trees, light the chiminea as the evening cools, and listen to the sounds of wildlife settling in for the night.
More than 20 species of birds frequent the property, alongside the occasional wallaby and other native wildlife who wander through the gardens as though they belong there too.
The owners live quietly in the nearby main house, though every effort has been made to ensure the cottage feels private, calm and entirely your own.
Inclusions:
- Two Queen bedrooms
- Washing machine for your convenience
- Smart TV
- Kitchenette with mini fridge and 2 burner cooker
- Beautiful balcony with chimnea firepot for your enjoyment
