About this property

The Beach House is our family holiday house so you can communicate directly with us. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double and one single bed sleeping a maximum of five guests. Couples will be given the queen bedroom but should you require two beds please specify and the alternate bedroom will be made available at a nominal extra tariff for linen.
The Beach House has FREE Wifi a smart TV with Netflix access and a dedicated work/study area.
There is a fully-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious fresh local seafood. Decor features include original art, wood-panelled walls, polished timber floors, deep sofas and comfortable deck chairs. There is convenient electric heating as well as the special warmth of an open fire. Games, a selection of movies and music, gas barbecue, boogie boards and wetsuits are all provided. From the open deck there are sweeping views of Georges Bay and the surrounding hills. Take a short stroll on a private track to he sandy secluded bayside beach. Youll usually have ut all to yourself plus pelicans.

Locality
You'll find the new ST HELENS MOUTAIN BIKE TRAILS masthead at Flagstaff just 4 minutes drive from the Beach House. PERON DUNES and BEER BARREL BEACH are also just 5 minutes drive heading east along St Helens Point Rd. Drive north to the magnificent beaches of the Bay of Fires or inland to Pyengana with its cheese factory or head up to the BLUE TIER to explore St Columba Falls.

Property
On entering the Beach House you are immediately drawn to the front deck and the stunning views over Georges Bay; your only company are the pelicans and kookaburras and the occasional sea eagle soaring above the majestic gum trees. The nearby holiday houses are obscured by bush and there is a secluded, winding track between you and the bayside beach. Your dog is free to explore on this beach.
The Beach House itself is weatherboard with polished floors, white walls, furnishings in shades of blue, original art and a wide selection of costumes and DVDs. The mood is retro. As the owners love to visit too, many guests comment on the feeling of stepping into a much loved family retreat with many touches that make the Beach House a world away from your standard holiday unit managed by an impersonal agency.

Leave fireplace as you find it with debris and ash swept into a pile. Use fire guard at ALL times when fire lit.
Please get fire permit from police before lighting outside firepit in summer

Do not let this property be unviewed or youll be disappointed you did. It offers plenty of spacious rooms, a fantastic deck with a generous sized bath to soak in,while the sun sets over the magnification ranges. A fully equipped home, a peaceful native garden, pet friendly with great walks close by and our favourite....a huge open logfire.

We loved staying at this clean, quiet, well-equipped property with amazing views and private access to the beach. We were 4 adults and enjoyed relaxing on the gorgeous deck after being out all day doing 'touristy' things.

A peaceful and scenic retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this homey cottage with beautiful views out iver the bay. Peaceful and surrounded by gardens and bush. Loved the open fire on the cold nights.

Perfect relaxing holiday

Perfect location for a relaxing break overlooking the water. Cosy cottage with a very homely atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Great place to have our little dog with some lovely walks along shoreline close by.

Wonderful property

Well provisioned in every aspect. Delightful artworks, wide variety of books and games, fantastic open fire for cold evenings and lovely view with access to a waterfront track. We enjoyed our short stay and can highly recommend this property!

Something special with a view

Lovely well cared for house with awesome view. The new outside bath was very popular with our family. It was great to be in the tub with a drink and a book when all else was cold outside

a restful stay

a neat property with excellent views, unfortunately not really suited for elderly or disabled. Stairs and the rugs on the slippy floors a hazard. The walk to the "beach" was precarious especially coming back. We loved sittin g on the deck but a bit hot as the umbrella was broken, seeing the birds a bonus

The property was as described with great water views & a comfortable interior. All appliances worked as they should. The beds were comfortable. All good. Our only complaint would be the lack of weatherproof shelter anywhere, back or front of the house. If it rains, you are compelled to retreat inside.

Perfect getaway.

Charming little cottage with great views across the water and distant mountains. Very clean and cosy and the open fire at night was an added bonus for a winter stay. The perfect place to get away and unwind and the 2 nights we stayed was too short. Helen was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thanks.
