This lodge-style guesthouse has recently been renovated incorporating the rustic, heritage charm of our gold mining history with a modern twist.

This private one-bedroom guesthouse is the ideal base for exploring the Queenstown region.

Fully self-contained, it offers a comfortable layout with full cooking and laundry facilities, for a relaxed and convenient stay where you’ll feel right at home.

It’s compact yet well-equipped with everything guests could need for an enjoyable and memorable stay.

The bedroom features a comfortable super king bed and ample wardrobe space, plus a small workspace ideal for remote workers or perfect for use as a dressing table.

For accompanying infants, a cot, baby bath and high chair can be provided on request for no extra charge.

In the ensuite bathroom, you’ll find a walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to cook and prepare meals such as a large fridge-freezer, cooktop, oven, dishwasher, plus all necessary table ware, cutlery and utensils.

The washing machine is also contained within the kitchen, with both indoor and outdoor drying racks available and laundry detergent provided.

Bed linen, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided for your convenience. So you can pack a little lighter!

Outside, guests can sit and enjoy peace and tranquility from the elevated wrap around deck.

There’s off-street parking available for one car on the shared driveway below the guesthouse.

Note, access to The Ruins is via an external stairway, with no ramp.
