Scott, this honestly made my day. Thank you so much for the kind words, and for sharing photos from your weekend — seeing guests enjoy the space is exactly what makes hosting feel so rewarding.
You and your family were such thoughtful guests, and I really appreciated the care you took with Studio 5. You left it in immaculate shape and treated it with the same TLC you would your own home.
We’re so glad the wine was a nice start to your weekend and that Studio 5 worked well for your time near the water, restaurants, and wineries. We’d be very happy to welcome you and your family back anytime.
We have stayed all over the world … these hosts know what they’re doing… location/ammenities/high end appointments/stellar attention to detail … I only hope it’s available the next time we book. Cheers to reaching above bar.

Louise, I just read your review and I am genuinely so touched. Thank you.
You were such an amazing guest, and I honestly couldn’t believe how immaculate you left Studio 5 — if I didn’t know better, I would have thought no one had even stayed there!
Your comments mean so much because we’ve put a lot into making Studio 5 what it is, and to have someone notice those little details and feel the way you did about your stay is incredibly rewarding.
Thank you for being so kind. We would absolutely love to have you back.
What a fabulous time we had from start to finish. The accommodation was excellent as was the communication with both Tanya and Robert who made us feel at home from day one. The accommodation is lovely with everything you need and more, a short walk to the Port where there are bars restaurants etc. We met with Tanya who was friendly like an old friend or just a new one now. Thank you guys

I’m so glad you enjoyed your time at Studio 5 and felt at home while you were here. It was lovely meeting you both and having the chance to chat, and we really appreciated how well you looked after the studio during your stay. You were wonderful guests, and I truly hope our paths cross again someday.

A heavy storm delayed check in into the early hours of the following morning. The host was so amazing. We communicated throughout the day and she was willing to help with the small details to make the arrival as easy as possible. The cabin is exactly as pictured and described with lots of supplies. Steps from multiple viewpoints of Lake Ontario, this tucked away "home away from home" is definitely worth it!

Jennifer, thank you so much for this. After the storm delays and such a long travel day, I was just happy we could stay connected and make your arrival as easy as possible.
It means a lot to hear that Studio 5 felt like a little home away from home and that you had a chance to enjoy the lake and the area while you were here. You were such a lovely guest, and I’d be very happy to welcome you back anytime.
Excellent ! A great property. I would highly recommend it . The property is nicely equipped with everything you need including a bbq, washer & dryer and a well equipped kitchen. We found it to be very comfortable. It is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood surrounded by other small well kept houses. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with our coffee and listening to the doves coing in the trees.

Louis, I absolutely loved reading this. The part about sitting outside in the morning with your coffee, listening to the doves in the trees, made me smile — that’s exactly the kind of quiet little moment I hoped people would enjoy at Studio 5.
It was such a pleasure having you and your family stay with us. You took wonderful care of the place, and I’m so glad you felt comfortable and at home while you were here.
Thank you for such a lovely review. You’re welcome back anytime.
My son and I adored this cottage — it was perfect for the two of us. It was beautifully equipped with everything we needed; I especially loved the K-cups and coffee supplies, so I didn't have to run out to the store after a long drive. The snack basket and welcome beverage were also much appreciated. The space is bright, clean, and recently renovated, and the heated bathroom floors were absolutely amazing (yes, even in summer!).Tanya and Robbie were available at a moment's notice whenever we needed anything. We were there for the regatta, and the cottage is within walking distance of Port Dalhousie and the grandstands. I also brought my bike and enjoyed some beautiful rides through the vineyards, orchards, and cornfields nearby. This was the perfect place to come back to after a full day.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage — thank you again!

We loved our stay at 5 1/2 Abbey. It was perfectly located to explore the greater Niagara area and within walking distance of Port Dalhousie’s restaurants. The cottage was thoughtfully appointed and immaculately clean. The hosts have thought of everything one might need for an enjoyable holiday stay.

About the host
Hosted by Studio 5.5 Admin
Robert is the owner of Studio 5, and I’m Tanya, his co-host. Because Robert works out of province for much of the month, I take care of the day-to-day details and make sure our guests have everything they need. Together, we’ve discovered that we make a pretty great team, and it’s been especially rewarding to see how happy our guests have been. Teamwork really does make the dream work—in our case, it helps make Studio 5 a comfortable, welcoming place to stay.
Why they chose this property
We chose Port Dalhousie because we genuinely love the character of the neighbourhood. It’s a welcoming community where beautiful million-dollar homes sit alongside small cottages, and somehow it all works together. Studio 5 is tucked into that mix, which is part of what makes it feel so special.
There’s always something nearby to enjoy—the beach, Lakeside Park, the pier, the yacht club, the local Legion and the village itself. It’s simply a great place to walk around, relax and spend time.
We’re also excited about the future here. The front studio is scheduled to begin renovations this fall, and before long we hope to have two properties available for guests to enjoy in Port Dalhousie.
What makes this property unique
What makes Studio 5 unique is the level of care we put into cleanliness, comfort and the little details that make a stay feel easy. The studio is newly rebuilt and exceptionally clean, with brand-new appliances, radiant in-floor heating, a full bathtub and a fully stocked kitchen where guests can prepare a proper meal rather than relying on the bare minimum.
All bedding is professionally laundered, and both the sheets and duvet covers are changed between every guest. We want you to walk in and immediately feel that the space is fresh, spotless and prepared especially for your stay.
Outside, guests also have their own private courtyard-style sitting area with a grill—a quiet place to enjoy a morning coffee, have a drink, cook dinner or relax after exploring Port Dalhousie and the rest of Niagara.
