Beautiful modern 1 bedroom lakefront cottage. Brand new deck 10 feet from the waters edge. Central heating and air, new large fridge and dishwasher. Fully equipped kitchen, new propane bbq, 3 burner propane stove with griddle (propane included). Outdoor sink with potable well water. Free use of 2 kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board, and large water mat. Great fishing right from the dock. Comfortable lounging and seating on the large dock with spectacular views up the lake. Motorized fishing boat and Yamaha waverunner available for a great price. This is a new listing and have priced it to ensure great value for renters. Feel free to view the cottage in person before renting. Only 10 minutes from Peterborough where all major stores are located and 1 hour from the greater Toronto area. You won’t be disappointed! Had a fantastic stay, the host Mark was very welcoming and ensured we had a great time. Beautiful location and great property which met all our needs for a relaxing weekend and fun on the lake. Will definitely be visiting again!

Mark was super welcoming and very accommodating to any and all needs. The cottage was super cleaned, well maintained and very accurate to the posting. The fishing was very good off the dock and on the boat. 100% would recommend to anyone!

We would strongly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a peaceful spot. This was a cozy cottage with a lake view and everything you need.Mark was an excellent host, he went above and beyond to teach my niece how to fish (she caught seven fishes!), and he gave us a boat ride!We would definitely come back!

The pictures don’t truly depict how beautiful this place is. My partner and I loved the coziness and convenience of all the cooking amenities available. The rain shower in the bathroom is awesome We also caught over 120 fish in these 3 days! We gutted and fried our largemouth bass on the bbq The boat was so lovely. He made a beautiful fire for us at night and even gave us the best butter tarts you will ever find!

The place was very clean, there was an abundance of everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host who lives next door was extremely nice and accommodating, never in your face but always available. The kitchen was small but had all the amenities that were needed. They had high speed wifi and TV so we could watch the soccer match in real time. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The cottage and the experience came as advertised. The cottage is cozy, it suited the two of us well. It comes with everything one might need. My son and I had a quiet and peaceful time during our stay.Everything from dinnerware, to cookware to firewood was provided, and the cabin was clean and well kept.Breakfast and dinner on the deck, and watching the sun rise and set to the lake was particularly enjoyable.There was minimal boat traffic on our end of the lake which made it great for canoeing. Furthermore we caught a 14.5”- 1.7 lb small mouth bass from the canoe.It was a pleasant stay, I hope to return.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Dans cet endroit idyllique! L’accueil de Mark était très chaleureux et attentionné. Le logement n’est pas très grand mais largement compensé par l’accès direct au lac avec le ponton et la possibilité d’utiliser les canots et paddle. Très calme et apaisant je recommande!

Wow! We had such an incredible experience at this cottage. The cottage itself was very clean, organized and had everything you need to cook (including oils, vinegar and spices).The area is more beautiful than the pictures show! The included kayaks, paddle board, canoe and water mat were all easy to use, with provided life jackets. While the lake is shallow and weedy, we were still able to swim and fish easily. Mark is an absolutely lovely host, he went above and beyond with offering every amenity he could provide, giving tips and tricks for equipment, fishing, and even helping us figure out the outside grill and sink. Mark lives right beside this cottage, but provided us with complete privacy during our stay, and was closeby when we had questions! If I could give this experience more than a 10/10 I would. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you to the Read Family!
