About this property

Bellashy Rainforest Retreat—Refined Outdoor Living

Summary:

Set against a tropical rainforest backdrop in one of Cairns' most scenic pockets, this architecturally designed haven centres around a private pool, poolside pavilion and multiple alfresco spaces designed for Far North Queensland living. Generous layout, a chef's kitchen, air conditioning and heating, and on-site parking ensure a seamless stay. Close to Crystal Cascades, Barron Gorge National Park and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, it's an ideal base for exploring the region's natural wonders.

The Space:

The open-plan living area forms the social heart of the home, where vaulted ceilings, oversized louvred windows, plush seating and a TV create a light-filled space designed for connection and comfort. The gourmet kitchen features a large island with seating, premium appliances and ample preparation space, complemented by a fully equipped butler's pantry for added convenience. Nearby, the dining area provides a bright setting for everything from leisurely breakfasts to evening dinners.

Surrounded by tropical greenery, the outdoor spaces capture the essence of Far North Queensland living. Long lunches unfold on the main patio, where an outdoor dining setting, BBQ and elevated views across the tropical gardens create the perfect setting for alfresco living. The private pool, sun loungers and outdoor shower invite you to soak up the tropical sunshine, while the poolside pavilion and garden seating areas provide inviting spots for board games, sunset drinks and catching up after a day exploring Crystal Cascades. The fully fenced yard offers a secure space for guests travelling with dogs to enjoy the outdoors.

Accommodation is thoughtfully arranged across the upper split level. The primary bedroom provides a peaceful retreat with a king bed, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite and private covered patio. Two further bedrooms each feature a queen bed, with one also offering a dedicated workspace for those balancing work and travel. The fourth bedroom is ideal for children or friends, with two single beds. A double sofa bed in the living area can also be set up as an additional sleeping area upon request. Alongside the ensuite, the home includes a spacious family bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower, plus a powder room.

Split-system air conditioning and heating in all bedrooms and the living area, along with ceiling fans throughout, ensure year-round comfort. A private laundry with a washing machine and dryer adds convenience, while on-site parking for up to three vehicles and side access for a boat, trailer or camper complete the stay.
