Our host was responsive when we asked for some basic supplies. The nicest part of our stay was sitting outside on the deck.Due to the age of the home, the floors sloped quite a bit. When cooking, we had to balance the pans manually because of the severe slope of the kitchen floor. It also did not feel like a vacation rental- it felt more like a shared space with the owner (ie: freezer was 60% filled with her personal frozen goods, with barely enough space for us to store our frozen goods; closet spaces were shared as the owners clothes were shoved to one side of the closet in the primary bedroom; in the second bedroom, some childrens’ clothes were removed from the first 2 drawers and shoved into the bottom 2 drawers. I do believe the owner meant well, but perhaps she is new to the vacation rental busy. changes will be necessary if she plans to continue renting her space as a vacation rental. Guests are renting the whole house, not sharing with the owner.

Had a great time staying at this cabin with my friends! The property is beautifully nestled in the woods while still being just a short drive from the main street in town. We loved the home’s decor, charm, and how cozy it was. Felt like we were staying at a relatives home. It was only about a 7-minute drive into town, though you could also walk there in roughly 25 minutes if you wanted to. The outdoor patio was one of our favorite parts of the property—perfect for having coffee in the morning or enjoying some wine around the fire pit in the evening.The house itself was just as described, with comfortable beds and a pull-out couch that can fit two people. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no Wi-Fi and cell service can be pretty spotty throughout the property, but we actually enjoyed having the chance to unplug for the weekend. Lydia was also quick at responding to our messages. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

Overall this was a great little cabin. Clean and close to Guerneville. Be aware that there is no WiFi at this place and cell reception is very poor in the area.
