We loved our stay at the Little Red House

We loved the charm of this house. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and the hot tub while looking up at the redwoods. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was great for our planned day trips. We would definitely recommend to others!

Fantastic

just an amazing house amongst redwoods

This house was super cute and had a ton of amenities. I really loved swinging in the hammock and staring up at the redwoods. Communication with the team was great. We would really love to return.

We had the perfect weekend celebrating my daughter’s graduation from Sonoma State. This home was absolutely perfect for us. If I had decorated it myself it would look exactly as it does now. We will absolutely be back!

Great stay!

The property was great. The only note for someone reading a review is that you do have to be able to handle stairs as the property is on a hill with 2-3 flights of stairs to the front door. Otherwise it was perfection! Easy communication, and everything we needed was there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay here was great. My family of 6 stayed here for 3 nights, and we all wished we could stay longer. The house was well equipped with kitchen items for us to cook for ourselves, and there were plenty of outdoor and indoor spaces for us all to spend time together or do our own thing. There were so many bonuses about this house, it was hard to decide how we wanted to spend our time. We were able to roast marshmallows on the easy to use propane fireplace, lay on the hammock, hang out in the hottub, and play card and board games inside at the large table. On the downside, the rooms were just a little bit small. It's a very minor complaint being that we were only using the bedrooms to change clothes or to sleep, but I add it here just for the sake of transparency. The thing that bothered me the most was being added to their e-mailing list after booking the stay, and receiving far too many e-mails that weren't directly related to our stay there. If the stay wasn't so well priced and nice, that part alone would absolutely deter me from booking here again. With the quality and pricepoint, I'd book it again and just make sure to unsubscribe from their mailing list immediately.

Cool cabin, “okish” neighborhood.

Cabin was cool, had all the necessary kitchen and cooking supplies. Location was ok, neighborhood a little run down but doesn’t really take away from the cabin. As constructive feedback, there seems to be high or unnecessary fees associated with this rental. But it’s California so I guess its expected.

One long, perfect weekend in a perfect place

I loved it the minute I saw it online, and I loved it even more once we figured out where to park the cars! (that is one thing that needs a bit more definition, for those arriving after dark, especially!). There was no attention to detail overlooked- lovely, warm atmosphere, thick, cushy beds, great appliances, nice fireplace, great outdoor space, and the huge, full, green lovely redwoods. It was absolutely perfect, close to the main street, close to Safeway, restaurants, the ocean, the wineries. Honestly, I can't recommend it highly enough. I cannot wait to return. It was a little bit o' heaven in a little bit o' heaven.

"Our Guernville Cabin"

This stay marked my 2nd in 3months time. I loved it so much in March with my immediate family, I just had to share this beautiful little cabin with my extended Family when it came time to celebrate a family wedding in Occidental. It provided, both times, the perfect place to visit and enjoy all the richness Sonoma County has to offer. Good times and memories were made there. It was magical to be nestled amongst the Redwoods. Waking up to these beautiful trees right outside our windows was such a treat. Many of the trees were hugged there. The hot tub, hammock, gas fireplace, deck and kitchen were well utilized by us all. Our Baby Sissy, Niece and now 2 Great Nephews recently relocated to Sebistobol. There's absolutely no need to look any further; we look forward to our next stay in "our little red house." The house is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is newly remodeled with all amenities. Beds very comfortable. Location is on a hill and there a plenty of stairs to keep you in shape. You are within walking distance to Northwood golf couse. It is very quiet among the redwoods with a super clean hot tub and nice deck area for sitting and enjoying family. The hammock was a big hit with the kids. The 2 dogs had lots of room but there is no fence around property. My only suggestion would be to have screens on all the windows.We had a wonderful four days only wish it could have been longer.

We found the cottage to be super clean and modern while still retaining the charm of a cottage in the woods. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. The outside space was wonderful -- loved the deck and large table not to mention the great hammock! We used both the main house and the studio below. The studio was a nice quiet respite -- felt like a little cozy getaway. This home is close to the coast and wine country, both. The location is perfect for seeing all the sights in the area. One more note: we ran out of propane for the grill and a quick email to the management company was all that was needed to get a re-fill the next day. Good service on that front, too. Would rent again and again!
