Quiet neighborhood. 10 minutes from anything and everything… shopping, downtown, bite to eat, Magnolia Silos, Baylor, and more. Great host, easily reachable if needed. All good and as advertised.

This home felt like coming home. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend. Everything we wanted to do was very close. Host was extremely helpful and explain everything before we got there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Quiet weekend at Charming Cottage

Our family enjoyed our stay in the Charming Cottage. Neighborhood was quiet, home was cozy and had everything we needed for our short weekend stay. Check in and communication with the host was easy. Would highly recommend.

Maggie and Juan were great to rent from, very helpful and went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again on my next time through Waco!

The "cottage" felt like home as soon as we walked in. Okay, minus the clutter we have at home. LOL. Home was impeccably clean with calming and positive "vibes." A central location made it simple to get to a multitude of restaurants, shops, etc. We stayed a full week getting a family member settled at college. We were able to get totally rested/refreshed each night. The home is so quiet!The owner(s) have taken every possible step to make this home feel refreshed and lived in at the same time. Maintaining all the wood from the original build (doors, etc.) has kept it very soundproofed from room to room. (I loved all the trim work. Some might not notice, but I did.)A twin-faced Keurig (brew or pods) for coffee was fun. ONLY issue we had was locating the pans -- that were stored in the oven. Now I understand that is potentially a "southern" thing that this New England family wasn't accustomed to. Easily resolved.We might be back for another visit. Many thanks to the host/ess for taking such good care of us while we were there.

Girls trip to Magnolia

We LOVED staying here. It was so cute, lots of character and beautiful and comfortable. We lounged in the evenings and we’re so close to Magnolia it was wonderful! Thank you Maggie, you were a gracious host!

Adorable House

Maggie was incredibly responsive! Cozy little home. Note, only 1 bathroom, which worked fine for us. Location was a little sketchy for my liking, but all the other reviews made me feel a bot more at ease. Thanks for a great stay.

This cottage is nothing short of charming. It’s unassuming from the outside but full of character, windows and daylight on the in side! You won’t be disappointed, it’s precious.

We loved it and will return. Maggie was a great host. The couch was nice and comfortable for watching movies. The master bed was very comfortable. Decorative accents were set up for Valentine’s Day.

This was perfect!

The home was so beautiful and clean and decorated so “Magnolia” -like. Location was great. It made for the perfect cozy, comfortable cottage for my sister and I to check out everything Magnolia and the Dr Pepper museum and Baylor University, etc. thank you for helping make these few days in Waco the best

Wonderful Barnette!

This was a wonderful place to stay when you are in Waco. Exactly like the listing and pictures. Immaculate! The neighborhood was quiet and it was conveniently located to everything-the Silos, Baylor Campus, Restaurants, Cameron Park, etc. Maggie was amazing start to finish and made the home very welcoming and even included a bottle of wine for our stay! Such a nice touch!

This has been one of my favorite rentals!

This is an historic home, but feels like new on the inside. Looks like everything but the floors (which are refinished) have been replaced, and the construction was done well! It has central air conditioning, and new windows, so it is quiet, cool, and fresh inside. Plenty of outlets and lighting in all the right places with this new construction. The décor is great, even better than the photos show, and done with quality materials including thick blackout curtains in the bedroom, super comfortable bed/bedding, and sectional sofa. Every window has tree views, and it felt very roomy for a small historic home. This place does have a bathtub! The owner has thought of everything! There were little surprises and extras in every room to make the stay more comfortable. Phone charger, robes and slippers in the bathroom, extra toiletries in case were forgotten, Perrier and Fuji water in the fridge. And it has both a Keurig and a Nespresso. And the bed was SO comfortable. Highly recommend!

The property was very clean. Lots of nice touches on decor and things for guests to use. The beds were very comfortable. With the fans on, the house was very cool. I wish there was a bathroom downstairs. But we managed. The owners were so kind and so quick to fix a small appliance problem we had. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place! Location was superb as well.

Magnolia Getaway

We loved this property - the house was beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything you would need. It was also close to everything. The property manager emailed several times just to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the home. It was just perfect from start to finish. We had a fabulous stay.

Love this place!!

Cozy cottage is the perfect name for this place!! Beds are comfortable and space is plentiful! Kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. Host communicates wonderfully and I’m confident if we needed anything she would take care of our request. Not necessary because the house had everything we needed.

Quaint Stay

We had an enjoyable weekend staying in this property. Cottage itself was quaint and cozy with all of the perks of home. Close proximity to the Baylor campus. While the location is residential and a bit older it was quiet and not lots of traffic. Would have been nice to have a half bathroom on the lower level. That would be my only improvement. Otherwise an all together great stay.
