Hidden amongst established trees and gardens at the water’s edge, this beautifully individual cottage feels peaceful, creative and deeply cared for. Stained-glass windows, warm timber floors, old-world touches and a generous verandah give the home real character, while the lake sits just beyond the garden.

Wake slowly, take your coffee outside and wander down to the waterside deck. Spend the afternoon reading beneath the gums, watching the water or simply enjoying the quiet. As evening arrives, the lake becomes the backdrop for beautiful sunsets and relaxed outdoor dining.

Inside, the cottage is arranged as a spacious open-plan retreat with a queen bed, comfortable living area and large sofa bed, allowing up to four guests to stay. It is especially lovely for couples, but also offers flexible accommodation for a small family or group.

The kitchenette includes the essentials for a relaxed stay, including a microwave, kettle and toaster, while the bathroom includes a shower, toilet and basin. Reverse-cycle heating and cooling, Wi-Fi and television help keep things comfortable year-round.

Outside, the verandah offers another beautiful place to sit and take in the garden and glimpses of the lake, with outdoor dining and a BBQ available.

One of the real pleasures of staying here is being so close to the water. Bring your own kayak, paddleboard or favourite water toys, or hire equipment locally in Nagambie and head out to explore the lake.
