Urgent Complaint: Safety Hazards and Severe Misrepresentation for Reservation I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding our recent stay. The property was severely misrepresented, unsanitary, and unsafe.• Severe Misrepresentation of Space: The listing advertised 6 bedrooms to accommodate 16 people, but the property only contained 5 functional bedrooms. Because of this, several family members were forced to sleep on the floor and couches. On the first night, we had to inflate a single air mattress just to fit everyone. Furthermore, we paid extra for a pre-configured sofa bed, which did not exist; we had to find sheets in the cupboards and set up an alternative ourselves.• Biohazards and Infestation: One of the bedrooms was actively infested with rats, and the fitted sheet on the bed was covered in rat feces. Additionally, a toilet seat in another bathroom had an active feces stain upon our arrival.• Structural & Check-In Issues: The check-in instructions stated keys would be in a lockbox, but no keys were provided, causing immediate access issues. Internally, the floors were heavily tented and buckling, presenting a major tripping hazard. Dust build up around and under furniture. The outdoor gardens were unmaintained. The host had 0 care for her lies and misrepresentation of the property. Due to these egregious health violations and the host's dishonest advertising, we expect a full refund for this stay.
